Dislike. I don’t want to smell like sweet feminine perfume and baby powder.

Sultan Pasha Attars: Tabacaurum

It’s $172 per ml

Only if you like florals. It’s very flower forward, with a background scent of new car leather interior. The leather accord is amazing, but I don’t like flowery perfume on myself.

That wasn’t a rule in 2019 either. Were they actual dress shoes, or did they have a white sneaker sole?

You must have gone on an off night, because the main shows I’ve seen have been great. Of course some have been better than others, but they were all incredible performances. One guy made a table float off the stage, FFS.

Ah, yeah this is a tough one, then. It’s got to be a bit of a confidence booster to have this problem, though. If I really didn’t want to hook up with someone in this situation, I’d just try to let it fizzle out. That happens all the time, so unless they’re bad friends they should understand. If they ask just be honest: “I just wasn’t attracted to her in that way”. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Pedialyte, or any electrolyte drink, anti-inflammatory of choice, and a bowl of pho or ramen.

Do you ever feel physical attraction toward anyone? Has there ever been a man or woman that you wanted in a sexual way?

Depends on each specific product. Some are great, many are not. One of my favorites is Black Panther by Alexandria, which is a clone of Tygar for a few hundred less. It smells almost identical, and performs much better.

I know everyone has a suggestion, but Mont Blanc Legend EDP smells almost identical to Percival, at a fraction of the price. Plus Mont Blanc is decent quality.

Mont Blanc Legend, the EDP is more mature leaning than the EDT. You can get it for about $40 at discounters, like Fragrancenet. This link will automatically add a 37% discount to the basket

Croissants are made by creating multiple layers of alternating dough and butter, usually by rolling out a sheet of dough, adding a flattened layer of butter, then folding a bunch of times to create the alternating layers. If that’s not done correctly you’ll end up with more of a bread roll texture. I would imagine the issue is with the layering rather than the yeast, but I’m not a croissant Dr.

Haha, those are actually my go-to brands as well

Interesting. I totally understand about liking some notes, but only certain ways. Im that way with patchouli. When it’s earthy and dark chocolatey I like it, but when it starts smelling more flowery, like a hippie drum circle, I’m not down.

My favorite grapefruit note right now is in Black Panther (clone of Tygar), but it’s also full of ambroxan, so you’d probably not be into it. But, man is that grapefruit juicy. It also lasts longer than most other citrus I’ve tried. I also like the Eau Sauvage line for long lasting citrus, but they can be a bit reminiscent of disinfectant spray.

Haha, fair enough. It must have been fun to discover you liked it so much.

Nice, I’ve actually tried to buy it before, but they ran out after my order, so got refunded, and I never tried to get it again thinking it would just be like all the others. Looks like I’m going to have to try again, thanks.

Does it last through the day? Most designer deodorants I’ve used don’t last long at all.

I don’t have a problem blind buying when I can’t test something out, but if you went in a store, why wouldn’t you just try it out since it’s literally right there? I was with you until I read that.

I mean, people talk about the smell of other things besides perfumes here, so it’s not necessarily a given that you only meant fragrances.

Those notes cover most fragrance types. Out of curiosity, what notes do you go for?

Yeah, but MDR? Even if you subscribe to all the fear mongering, that’s not an area people are usually talking about. Maybe OP’s friend saw some non white people coming out of Killer Yacht Club after hours.

Be careful, you don’t want to be “that guy”, and choke her out with perfume when you’re in a small space, like the car. Also keep in mind not everyone likes the same smells, for example I’m not a fan of the powderiness in most Prada scents, and many people don’t even like fragrances in general.

As was already said, most likely you’re just getting used to the smell, so you don’t notice it after a while. That happens to everyone, and if you say you don’t have the best sense of smell, it may be even more true for you. If you put a couple sprays under you shirt, it shouldn’t be too strong, and will definitely be noticeable up close, which is how you want it to work. You want it to be discovered, not announced.

Do you like actual vanilla, like for baking? I love vanilla, but perfume “vanilla” accords don’t smell anything like real vanilla, and I dislike most vanilla fragrances.
