Despite how fun his character is, I'm gonna admit he deserves to get thrown to jail.

Remember when he states at Gon and Killua's butt?  Remember when he got boner while looking at Gon?

Yorknew City Arc is the perfect way on how to make a revenge story. Discussion

I'm not an old HxH and just recently got into it. Before reading it, I've read countless revenge story. Some are good like Shark, Vinkand Saga, & Berserk. And the other are terrible and a self insert. So when I just finish the Yorknew City Arc, I realize how good HxH are.

First, the mc are an actual character. In other revenge story, the mc is just a serial killer/Jigsaw. But Kurapika is not that, it's not shown in the 2011 adaptation, but in 1999, Kurapika pray in Kurta's tradition. It shows that he realize that no matter how terrible of a person the Troupe was, he still commit a murder. In other story, the mc is not even bugged by this. They're just homelander with jigsaw twisted mind.

Second, the antagonist are an actual character. Usually, the target for revenge is depicted as the worst human beings on the planet, but the Troupe is not that. Sure, they kill a bunch of people, but they're not taking joy of it and did it out of profesionality. Kurapika even mention that they didn't care about the amount of people they kill. They also not a pure monstermonster and still have good side. Like how they mourn the death of one of them and how Pakunoda sacrifice herself.

Third, the antagonist also pose a threat. The antagonist will usually cry like a bitch after getting beaten by the protagonist until eventually got killed. In Kurapika Vs Uvogin fight, we see something different. Uvogin didn't beg for his life, he's protecting his friends until his last breath. The story also not a hunt for each member. Imagine how boring it will be if the Kurapika Vs Uvogin fight is repeated over and over with different Troupe member until they're die.

Fourth, the story shows the consequences of revenge. In most of this story, the mc got a power that they didn't earn and goes on a killing spree upon those who wrong them. Kurapika may got overpowered ability, but he has to pay a high price for it. When he founds out the Troupe are all dead, he felt empty, he felt like all of his hardwork are for nothing. He drowns in an indescribable emptiness, just like how Askeladd got killed in front of Thorfinn.

Starswirl X Twilight (Just Kidding Lol)

It's Hope X Sombra

You know, it's okay to create an antagonist like this, but don't make all of your antagonists like that.

Take HxH for example, Togashi created this kind of antagonist through Genthru (Heck, this guy is even more threatening than 90% of those arrogant idiots) or most Chimera ants officers or the shadow beasts.

But he still created badass and interesting antagonist like Hisoka, Chrollo, & Meruem.  But if you still want to make them 1 dimensional evil, at least make them threatening and competent like Dio from Jojo.

Enhancers are simple and determined. Transmuter are whimsical and tends to lie. Emitter are easy to get mad. Conjurer are analytical and easy to get nervous. Manipulator are argumentative. Specialist are independent and charismatic.

If Tyson rule Kakin, that country would lose every war since she would disband the military

Noodle BoyConjurer

Type : Conjurer. Create 3 nen beast with the shape of a small doll with a ball as it's lower half. When the lower half is attached into an organic matter, the ball will open and spin, turning the the organic matter into noodle substance that the nen beasts eat. The nen beast will stop eating if they accident consume nonorganic matters.

If you're a Kakin citizen, which prince do you wish to be the new king? Help/Question

I don't ask which prince that would likely to win the contest. I ask which prince do you want to be a king if you're a Kakin citizen.

Enhancer are simple minded and honest Transmutet are deceitful Emitter has low temperament Conjurer is great analyzer Manipulator has strong desire to protect their families Specialist are charismatic

Now I feel bad for the monster that the mc slaughtered

Not all of them though, the mc of "Cultivator against Hero Society" actually have good personality

Sato, without him Ajin will just be a Tokyo Ghoul copies

True, I'm glad I'm not the only one who think of that

Imagine absorbing both Nether star and Herobrine's power, and crafted new body from netherite. Only to be weaker than some scientist with jet pack and arm blade

Dragonhearted nether has battleship, flamethrower powered by blaze, some devices that created zombie pigman, ghast with twin gun, and don't forget that giant mech powered by nether star that's equipped with a nuke

But remember, they're allied to the Voltaris clan. So Deathsinger with all of prime songs can definitely put a good fight

SOW's nether is lead by strong king though. Phythus in the s3 script fight equals to Deathsinger who had all prime songs. He may not have magic, but he's definitely a strong fighter.

Their only up side is their superior technology
