Did your wife also know this porn star name? If not, how was THAT conversation admitting YOU know?

TBH I don't think it really matters. With the explosion of porn there's going to be someone with almost any name by the time she's old enough to get teased about it. Plus, by then, porn will probably be some crazy VR sensation included experience so anything from these days will be like us plugging in an old VHS tape.

Egypt. A) I'm not attracted to dinosaurs. B) Whatever modern supplies I bring, I'm pretty sure they would make me the Pharaoh.

God damnit. Went my whole life here not knowing that. Now I'll never unsee it.

NTA. He obviously is only fine with the non traditional thing because of money and really wants someone obedient. I'd run and for the love of Zeus do not have a kid with him.

You definitely can but that only has 8gb of storage. Onn 4K Pro at least has 32gb, wifi 6, and Ethernet. Same price too unless you're only getting the HD version.

Someone was nice to you and that makes them a groomer? You feel bad because you're not angry at someone who was nice to you?

In a word, capitalism. Anything which can be considered a commodity and thus exchanged for monetary value is essentially viewed as just that in our capitalist system, a commodity open for exchange.

Empyrion. i built so many ships/bases during the pandemic, only to do exactly nothing with them.

It is, you're right, but what it really comes down to is it's (in this case) a large corporation asking customers to subsidize their business by paying their workers directly. Some of these same businesses in the US ask the taxpayers to subsidize their businesses with medicaid and food stamps for their workers instead of paying them a living wage.

If they just paid better then they wouldn't be creating guilt and animosity between customers and employees. They just don't care. The CEO's need their yachts!

Athens. To put such a radical idea into practice and be successful for a long period was so novel. Not without faults and flaws, but impressive nonetheless.

The only plausible explanations I know of would be that either the cell tower your phone connects to is also losing power when the power goes off, or the tower you're connecting to is overloaded when it happens. The power goes without saying, but if you're ever at a big concert/sporting event even though you have a "signal" the Internet connectivity is often spotty at best.

Well that's not really how it works but regardless if you're that concerned just disable the integrated graphics and use Nvidia only. You should be able to do that in the Nvidia control panel. Good luck.

In the meantime there are also plenty of apps that work as remotes. Not a perfect solution but they do work.

Look at your initial photo, the integrated graphics graph is going up and down up and down while your RTX GPU is steady. That's presumably because you're switching back and forth between your game and the graph and when you switch, your integrated graphics is rendering at that moment. Your Integrated graphics are much weaker than your RTX GPU. The percent of each GPU is individual, not combined. So it's not as if you add them both up to get 100%. They're using that percentage of THAT GPU, and when you switch to the Integrated graphics that uses a higher percentage.

Basically, nothing is wrong, stop worrying. You're getting what you can out of your laptop. It's likely thermal throttling though so if you turn up the fans you might get a little more performance. 85 is very hot. Once it gets above 90 they typically throttle things.

You shouldn't expect more from an organization who is so corrupt a portion of their income goes towards their own insurance for their persistent sexual assault of minors.

That said, if the property management attorney isn't getting an answer, there's no reason to think one of yours will and you'll end up wasting money. You can sue them in small claims court.

Hmm. Optimus wasn't working right then but you already fixed that problem with enabling it in the control panel.

As for the fans, it's not the same. It's moving faster and thus moving more air. People keep them lower almost exclusively for less sound.

What it means is just because it might only use a smaller percentage of the GPU doesn't mean it's a bad thing. If it is a super high end game it might use 100% of the RTX GPU but for something like you're playing now it'll probably never get near that. The integrated graphics, were you using them for your game (you're almost certainly not) would max at 100% pretty quickly.

The laptop is probably using Optimus which automatically switches to the RTX card when you're in the game. You don't need to change anything.

As for the fan, 7200 vs 5300 will be louder, and in theory it'll wear the fan itself a little faster, however the real danger to laptops is the heat which at 7200 it'll get rid of that heat faster/better. Your GPU was already showing at 85 degrees which is tolerable for a GPU but lower is better for temperatures.

Well without knowing your actual laptop it's tough to say. You can completely disable the integrated graphics if you want. Gaming laptops usually come with their own software to enable different usage profiles for gaming, web browsing, etc.

If you're just going on the % though, think of it this way. Lifting 50lbs as a grown man will use about 40% of ones strength. A cat lifting 50lbs will use 100% of its strength. The RTX GPU is the man in this analogy.

Merits aside, there is not much you can do. Even if you could, he could sign up at 18 anyways and you'd probably put a serious rift between him and yourself. Sucks that it's against your wishes, but might be best to accept the inevitable and try and be supportive.

Are you minimizing the game screen when taking this screenshot? While it's only utilizing 20% at the moment it being at 85° indicates it's probably utilizing a lot more when actually running the game.
