If you're playing as a flanker that means Zarya doesn't have to worry about a tank with a huge hp bar taking away her attention, or resources.

Also this conversation was about Zarya v D.Va stop moving goalposts. D.Va being able to fly around Zarya and make sure she doesn't have to truly engage Zarya doesn't make her good against Zarya, or even against her.

The moment you and the Zarya cross she has pretty much all the advantage.

No it isn't, you have no way of threatening her as long as she literally doesn't waste both bubbles in your face. The general advice is to avoid Zarya as D.Va since she has such an easy time against you.

Not only do you have no real way of threatening her, but aside from using your body, you can't protect your team from her damage as D.Va.
