Song has never clicked for me, the heavy part in the middle always felt a bit forced..
Such a beautiful captivating melancholic song
They really one upped themselves 3 times in a row with outro epics
I get it somewhat, but I love how it ties back to Condemned to the Gallows..
I never made that connection towards Prodigy before but now you mention it, I heard it.
Whenever I see White Cluster I think of that British cereal Clusters
While that maybe true, I think it works perfectly as an introductory track
This a thousand times, the tracks are their most replayable in their whole discography
The Coma Machine or Life In Velvet, love how Velvet calls back to Coma so much
The main course, which is wild cause the rest of the album is such a feast.
Damn, I heard nothing like this before. Those chord shapes are blowing my mind right now.
PVI: We wish we were Swedish
Well definitely not their underrated early stuff, that's for sure.
When I first played the game I was probably 10 years old, it felt like I was in traverse town for an eternity. I was completely lost, had no youtube guides back then, and the kicker, I was stuck on the guard armor boss for probably the same length.
Wow this is actually so tough 😠love them all
I still believe that the deaths of Carl and Beth were more tragic. Unlike Glenn and Abraham, who had significant roles and were practically main protagonists on the show, Carl and Beth were constantly overshadowed and relegated to secondary characters. It would have been great to see them develop and become more prominent figures in the series.
The wish Carl, just spat out my drink 🤣
I think the show's biggest mistake was killing off Carl and Beth. There was so much more potential to explore their characters.
Listening to the Henshall track now, as per usual a lot to take in. I admittedly still havent fully understood The Cocoon, there are parts to the songs that I think are brilliant, but the incoherent nature to the song structuring is a real challenge for me.
I'd say a lot more experimental song structure wise than the likes of Plini, Intervals, but Stephen Taranto is definitely up there with him. The structure is so winding but as you say about this EP maybe if I learn the songs more it'll click.
If you havent heard already I'll suggest you Saudade by Yurei, like Henshall the song structures are quite incoherent, but I'm able to grasp this one by the fundamental vibe it's creating, its soundscapes are elegant and colourful like Plini's.
This song sounds like Kingdom Hearts Aladdin world music, very specific I know 😂
Best / worst / underrated - Day 34. The worst song from Sorceress?
