Yup! Except it's David Bowie without the wig, lol.
The points I'm seeing here are interesting about Jareth being some kind of fantasy idol. I never saw it that way. I recall seeing pictures of him and Sarah's Mom on her vanity, and I got the impression they were in a theater production together and that is where Sarah is taking the story from. Sarah is living in her Mom's role in the Labyrinth play as a way to connect with her now that she's gone.
"Father is that you?" π₯Ί
Hey, that takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there. I have my own trust issues due to past trauma so I get it. It's awesome you didn't give up though. Don't let this destroy you. Her saying "I'm not a bad person" kind of drives the point home that she really is just trying to delude herself and I hope she can come to terms with her own insecurities and work on them. She will realize in time what she's lost and if she chooses to come back, then I hope you can reconcile if she really means that much to you. If not, that's okay too. You've been fine alone before and you'll be fine alone again. Taking the time to be with just yourself is something a lot of people take for granted. Take care, fellow dark flame. π€π₯
I mean, of course it was aimed at children because it's Disney, but they offered very little for the original fans of the movie and took very little from the original story. They played it safe. As for the original kids, Vinessa Shaw, Omri Katz, and Jason Marsden all attend panels for the movie and have expressed they'd be open to doing a sequel. I believe they didn't get Thora because she was directing a movie at the time, but Omri, Vinessa, and Jason would've definitely been up for it. I don't believe for a minute they declined.
Aside from seeing the original sisters again, it was a mess of hot garbage aimed at a very young audience instead of those of us that grew up with the movie for twenty years. The book was actually better than I expected. They had all the material right there and they threw it out the window. The writing in movies and shows today is absolutely suffering.
I'm not a relationship expert by any means, but I can offer a little perspective on said person's behavior. It sounds to me that this person is insecure. She's basically creating a self-fulfilling prophecy by stopping something before it even begins. It's a defense mechanism. Her also turning the blame on you is a way to deflect any towards herself. Honestly, it sounds like she was more likely the harmful one in the relationships and she's not ready to accept that. If it's meant to be, she'll come back to you and if not, it was for the best. This album also came out when I was going through a break-up and it helped me through it as well. β€οΈβπ₯
I love that collar! ππ
Gorgeous! Curious, does he have any Norwegian Forest? That coloring always reminds me of them, but to mention that incredibly floofy chest. π
Quite literally the perfect autumn tree. ππ
This is one of the major reasons I love the colder months. Everything feels more calm. Not to say nature isn't beautiful in the summer because trees are abundantly green, flowers bloom, birds chirping, etc. but it's masses of obnoxious people that swarm like flies to any and every peaceful location like you said. I'm from near the Jersey shore and grew up on the beach, but I've grown disdain for it because of the tourism and crowds. Plus I just hate feeling hot, lol. Fall is forever my happy place. ππ§‘
I couldn't care less about the music, but Leto has a bad rep for being pretty full of himself and has done some really weird shit for movie rolls (Joker being a big example), not to mention being inappropriate with fans of the younger variety.
So disappointing. There's a show I could've made, part of the $25 ticket week and I refused to support 30STM. Of all the bands to open for, not the best choice.
I fucking love AFI, but their merch is not worth it to me. I'd rather buy old merch on eBay. It's what I've always done (aside from the occasional Hot Topic shirt). It feels like lately bad merch runs rampant for all artists.
They spend so much time trying to "fix" something that is unfixable. You can repair a house all you want but if the foundation is crumbling, it's futile. This game was never meant to be anything but The Sims Online 2.0 and they've already pushed it way past its capability. Even well performing games don't last a decade! They will literally do anything except admit they fucked up.
This song breaks my heart and gives me life at the same time. π©
Along the path where the stream is dark and I greet the mist and continue walking. The wood, it whispers in a language of its own. As a sigh escapes my lips, I feel the light caress of fingertips that steal away the breath and leave me on my own.
That whole visual just makes me want to drop to my knees. It sounds so lame, but it truly enveloped everything in myself I didn't understand until then when I first heard it, and I still feel the same. π€
"The echoes of the past broke the hearts of the unborn." That line is a fucking masterpiece in and of itself. I got chills reading through the lyrics again. They cut so hard and deep.
I didn't see it in theaters because I was 8 at the time, but I watched it with my friends. We were obsessed with witchy stuff and video taped our own cheesey BWP in my backyard, lol. Then my Mom gave me The Curse of the Blair Witch VHS (she's where I get my love for weird stuff) and the obsession continues. πΉ
I wonder if thyroid problems have any link to immunity, because she seems to be sick pretty often. From what I understand, people with limited diets should take supplements of necessary things they aren't ingesting, and there's no way she's getting enough nutrients from processed meat and cheese. Probably not necessary if she were eating more of a variety of lean meats and not just steak and bacon. It's a shame though. People will only take advice when they're ready to accept it.
That's awesome! I'm surprised Rei (Heather) signed with her original name considering the whole situation. It's so cool that they still have so much love and respect for the fanbase. "I have a bag of UTZ and a beer." πβ€οΈ
I completely understand what you're saying, and you're offering a very neutral and based opinion. I appreciate your input.
Also happens with Blaqk Audio. I remember a part sounding like it came from "Closer" by NIN during "The Fear of Being Found" on CexCells. It could just be my ears though, lol.
