sara’s content has always seemed quite BORING to me compared to the other girls. destiny/haley’s editing is more thought out, and they say more things when describing how they feel about books. sara just kinda says “umm” a lot, idk how to explain it. 😭😭. i tried to support all the booktube girlies but i pretty much only like haley and destiny’s content because they actively try to read diversely and aren’t particularly ashamed of it, especially haley being a poc women herself.
Also once again, haley and destiny put just way more effort into their videos. the editing is just wayyy better and more thought out. and destiny seems to be the one always editing their podcast episodes so i can see why she always looks so stressed out…

yolk by mary hk choi. started in 2021 and hated all the characters, so i dnf.
a couple of years later i picked it back up so i could hate read it and ended up loving it. just raw, REAL writing. absolutely amazing. never read anything quite like it.

she bullied me in the comment section of her video. i said i hope she enjoyed the series’s she was reading (she was reading the uglies series) and said “you literally can just watch the video lmao” and i immediately unsubscribed. she is not sunshine and rainbows like we think she is
how is it overconsumption when she reads like 20 books a month? atleast she reads them unlike other booktubers who have 800+ books on their bookshelves and read 2 books a month in a constant “slump”
