The stem will be fine. It probably won’t even change. I repotted something that I stuffed like 6” of stem into originally and the stem was still green! I was surprised. I buried the whole thing in again even a little deeper.

Wow you should come back here and post the fresh ink when it’s done!

I just discovered this and love the concept. I want one now too but it’s gonna be awhile.

Ah I was wondering why you got downvoted but that’s a good point thanks!

I’ve done a lot of different methods to paint and draw but man do I get excited when I’ve got a project that I want to whip out the projector for.

I get a vibe in the dark with that bright light casting my image on the paper or canvas on the wall. The whole process of getting the transparency ready. A lot of times it is my original drawings but I’ve traced or even just flat out printed onto the transparency sheets.

I think I remember a post one time about someone who would go to the restaurant ahead of time, order what he wanted, eat it, have the table cleared and then his partner would join him and he’d be satisfied so he didn’t care that his food was getting eaten does anyone remember that?

This is what I have been doing with a salvaged adonsonaii I’m sure albos might be harder mine is just a normal one. But it went from a very sad stick to now putting out a third leaf.

There’s definitely a good chance that even if all the leaves are burned, some tiny length of stem and any good roots below the soil could regrow!

I just went straight to checking out post history after I couldn’t find what I wanted right away in the comments. It’s a good habit for finding extra (or sometimes unwanted..) info!

It was a pretty fun ride thank you OP!

Just keep trying. Trade lots of random stuff too and sometimes the random stuff ends up lucky and better than you expected and the more luckies you have the more likely you will both be to have a good number of different variety types for raiding different types rather than focusing on trading the big baddies I hope that made sense..plus tanks can be helpful too like blissey snorlax blastoise.

I hope she left the windows open!!

Nice to know! Thank you! Do you end up hanging the water out? Would adding salt to the water do any good?

I just had a feeling about this one…I turned my volume all the way down before I unmuted it and slowly brought it up a couple notches…it sounded so satanic like stairway to heaven played backwards. Took me awhile to understand what the eff was happening here..

I’ve always wanted to try a mystery bundle but so afraid of getting a bad one. I’m saving this post so when I can get some extra cash to treat myself (perhaps my bday next month) I can get myself started on Hoyas because that’s another thing I’ve been wanting to try but haven’t gotten the chance yet and it would be so fun to get a nice mess of them all at once!

I think there still are some but not as many

Let’s coin this. I’m gonna start saying it out loud in real life from now on. I’m not afraid of talking about see you next tuesdays.

It’s GOOSE! I’m the infiltrator from your west side

Maybe keeping them in some kind of shade during the summer and also in a pool of water could help?

Evaporating water does have a cooling effect.

But the water would be erosive to the rock too so hmm idk.

I understand it isn’t a long term solution. The hydraulics of the tree will break the rock eventually. I’m just speculating on getting it to survive the summers long enough to do that
