I found out through extensive research done because someone else said they suspected they had autism. I didn't really know what it was so I decided to go down a research rabbit hole.
I would look for one with less sugar. Mine has 0g of sugar for example, so it's not sickly sweet.
I agree, Coffee Talk is a visual novel. But I did find it very cozy.
I like my cozy games to have a clear ending. And I like linear progression as opposed to multiple choices that affect the gameplay/multiple endings.
I would love another coffee based cozy game.
I try to just wash up every day, and shower when I otherwise have the energy to do it. I bought a foaming cleanser that I use for washing up every day and that helps me stay and feel clean on a daily basis.
The struggle is so real for keeping up with hygeine with executive dyfunction. I hope you find something that works for you.
I taught myself to play piano, also by ear. I can also tell when my ukulele is out of tune pretty easily. I love music so I want to teach myself to play more instruments.
I am the same. I'll do all the side quests possible, then move on to the main quest. I like to be overpowered so I can just walk through battles/boss fights and focus on the storyline. XD And I love level grinding.
I have PTSD so I startle easily but not everything startles me.
I don't. I fold them up and put them in a drawer with my underwear.
This is why I did it, and I'm glad I did. I got tired of seeing clothes on the floor.
I'm the same way. My empty hangers also go to the left.
Laundry. I hang up all of my clothes in my closet except for underwear and socks. Pajamas included. And I have a coat rack for gently worn clothes. They're not clean enough to hang up and not dirty enough to go in the bin yet. I know it's not normal - normal people have dressers and fold their clothes up and put them away. But I'm just not doing that. It works for me. 🤷♀️
It depends. In my culture, it's generally frowned upon asking a woman her age, so when people ask me, they follow it up with "you don't have to answer if you don't want to".
Oof, this is on my wishlist.
I saw someone beat it in under three minutes lol. But if you take your time, it's probably under two hours.
I'm playing Florence. I like it so far. It's not difficult so I'm going to try to get all the cheevos for it.
I ask a lot of questions but it's to make people talk so I don't have to talk about myself lol.
I just snack on fruit. A bag of mandarin oranges/cuties is about $5 and even eating two a day, the bag will last me more than a week usually.
I play white noise (rain) but I also keep my fan on high to block out other noises, because the white noise isn't loud enough to do that.
Edit: I also wear two eye masks because I need total darkness.
I went no contact four years ago, during the start of the pandemic. I cut everyone off except for one grandmother, one cousin and my sister, who lives with me (she did the same). Still the best decision I've ever made. We even made it a holiday that we celebrate by buying ourselves something nice, going somewhere nice and getting cake. This year we went to the aquarium and got a red velvet cake made. We also changed our names so they can't find us, and we made that a holiday too.
It was hard at first because I have ARFID and a lot of my safe foods involved dairy. I had to completely change my diet. It got easier as time went on.
I make a pineapple spinach smoothie. Just pineapples and spinach, and I add pineapple juice and unflavored protein powder. Lately I've been adding blueberries too but of course you can omit them.
A Short Hike and Teacup are both pretty child friendly.
What are some Cozy, child(6-12)-safe games?
