Slapping someone is never okay. That being said, I enjoyed this very much. 😌

Thank you for the detailed explanation - much appreciated! 🧠

No clue. I always fill it up and drink the entire output, but your logic makes sense - adjust coffee and water amounts to your needs - Use a weighing scale to maintain a consistent ratio. Filling it less should ideally not create problems if the water:coffee ratio is right; but this is speculation on my part

Instant coffee in Moka Pot? - not sure. Defeats the purpose of it being ‘Instant’ IMO

Rent bicycle in Srinagarhelp_needed

Hi y’all. Planning a trip to Srinagar for a couple of days - anyone know where I can rent a bicycle, or is willing to loan me one?

Affirmative - everything was working find until the last 2 kms pictured above. Checked Garmin Connect to make sure that it wasn’t Strava - hasn’t happen again since, and that’s a route I take every day.

I could go in to correct the GPX file using Gotoes, but was just curious as to what might have caused this - dropping/switching satellites perhaps? Any speculation is welcome, because I have no idea 😅

Driving up from Chennai alone just for this! Been waiting a decade to seem them live - excited.

Been buying Santini since 2021 - decent selection available on BOTS and Cyclop. Best quality I have found on the market.

I don’t know what effect Colin has on the brake track, but I have always been advised to use warm water and lint-free cloth. Leftover residue from chemicals can cause issues. I have disc brakes, so got specific brake cleaning solution from Muc-off.

Is it possible that your braking surface is tainted? What did you use to clean it, and how worn are your brake shoes?

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the thoughtful explanation, and forgive my ignorance on the subject! 🙂

I agree about the accuracy, but not the economics

Also, I use (and am committed to) SPD style pedals. MTB pedal based power meters seem to be more expensive than their road counterparts.

Did not know if the 4600 = 4700. Got my answer in another reply. Shimano road hollowtech II crank arms are swappable.

Provided that the Tiagra 4600 crank arm is the same geometry as the current spec 4700, which in turn is compatible with any 105 version crank arm-based pm of the same length - then you are correct.

Thank you! That’s encouraging. Just to clarify, you have the older Tiagra (pictured in my post), and not the 4700 (current spec Hollowtech ii), correct? Asking because mine says nothing about it being hollowtech.
