It looks like the hands are both grabbing fabric from the other person.

So maybe like dirty hands grabbing exspensive looking fabric, like some form of symbolism of the poor reaching for wealth?

Or the opposite of clean, manicured hands taking from the poor, commentary of the rich always taking from the poor?

Ooof, that person just took a huge emotional dump on her "circle".

She needs to learn, that she doesn't have to always share all her feels on social media.

Im sure they will go on plenty of adventure with her in her lifetime, they are good people :).

I am confused how it translates onto this particular trolly problem, as the dude (yourself) is not on the tracks.

So you are not being sacrificed, and if your soul is saved you won't go to hell regardless of killing the kids or not, as the problem did not say killing the kids would send you to hell.

So unlike Jeebus who dies, you live regardless of the choice you make.

I made an appointment to see a doctor for a general check up / physical 2 week from now yesterday!

I am 36 and haven't been to see a doctor in 10+ years (excluding the teethy doctor)

She does sound qualified to teach and maybe even more than most.

I agree she should be up to date on her certs and cpr before offering her services though.

I think her price and asking to cover exspenses is reasonable though, as she is basically offering private lessons, where I assume the swin lessons you see local are for group classes.

Its like going to a spin class, or hiring a an Instructor, an Instructor would expect you to cover the cost if needed to train you at a gym , if they are not working for that gym.

Ooh, I recognize that cake pop, they come in a pack of 2 from walmart, they are decent, large. Nothing to write home about, but still good!

This is a lot 😬.

I think your post is mainly to vent? So I will just say, that it sucks you have/had to deal with this.

Except you don't sacrifice yourself, you just straight up murdering kids because of your weird belief system

For sure! She is a well pampered 10 year old Pup!

I lost my other dog to cancer March Last Year, so she is used to being in a 2 dog household. I think she appreciates the company.

Yup! Thats how mine is, just very indifferent 😅. A quick hi on intial greeting then ignored pretty much the entire stay.

The Pitbull (Riley) who has the matching harness in one of the photos is only like a year old, and she can sometimes get my dog (Xena) to play tag with her in the yard.

Probably want to get people stuck in fixed rate interests rates lol, think it is like 7% + now.

Luckily mine is 3.25% fixed.

My name is James, everyone calls me James - except my family.

Everyone in my family call me Jamie - my Mom liked the name Jamie but felt it was too informal so my birth certificate was James, but parents called me Jamie, I remember my Parents asking me if they want them to call me Jamie and James, and I said Jamie was fine It was what I am used to.

Now my Brothers wife, and Sisters BF also call me Jamie because thats how my siblings refer to me (which is completely fine) , but everyone else in my life it's James.

Have had a few try to call me Jimmy, Jimbo throughout my life, shut that down real quick lol.

I think everyone is in pretty much same agreement in the comments, that its totally okay to ask to do so, and majority of sitters do it without asking (same with me).

I think only once I saw someone post on here they took a package inside, that was actually left outside to be picked up by the postal service 😂, if thats the case I put it more on the owner to say "Hey I left a package out for the postal service, please leave outside"

Let them do them, eventually they will see it as not worth the effort or raise their rates.

I mean, walking dogs isn't exactly rocket science, and you have to start somewhere.

I reccomend not walking Large dogs and just offer services for small and medium dogs until you build up confidence and get used to the work.

I wouldn't do this job though if you don't think you will enjoy it, afterall that will translate into how much enjoyment the dogs will get.

Just take it seriously is my 2 cents, make sure their harnesses / collar / leashes are all secure before you walk out the door, keep the leash on a secure grip around your wrist, or belt if using an attachment like that, you don't want to have a dog run off on you.

With walking dogs it tracks the walk on rover, so give a good amount of effort into your walk, dont just walk half a mile and call it good, the owners see a report tracking your walk.

Make sure to give the full 30 minutes, don't short the dog or the owner for the time they pay you. Start the clock when you walk in the door, stop the clock when you leave.

Don't put your radius too large, a 5 mile radius probably equates to about a 15 minute drive after the furthest distance as it an eagle eye view, it doesn't take roads and routes into account.

Ask questions on meet and greets/ always do meet and greets. (How are they on leash do they pull? How are they with people and other dogs on walks, like do they lunge / bark etc? So you know to cross the street, duck behind cars etc)

I like to ask owners if they have preferred routes for the dogs too.

I always set their expectations on meet and greets and on drop off tell them when I will update them.

E.g "I typically take around 6-8 photos a day, and give you the update with the photos at 6pm my time."

Typcially I take a couple photos on their first walk, 2 photos on second walk, 2 of them inside the house, and 2 in my yard daily.

Obviously not suggesting you do the same as me, but let them know how many photos and how often you wil be updating them.

Last time I went away as an owner used a boarder for my dog for 10 days, in the meet and greet I asked if she could send like 4 or 5 photos a day, and at drop off said I looking forward to seeing photos of what her day was like!

I only ever got 1 photo a day from her, and kept trying to hint "thank you for the photo, I love seeing photos of her, the more the better" 😅, trying to be polite and not offend, but didn't work.

Regardless though still gave her 5 star, and a tip, she was well looked after In my eyes, just wished she gave more photos 😅.

Wait its a mobile game too? I am playing on PS5 as it was a "free" game in the PS plus subscription.

Some owners really need to do better vetting with rover sitters too finding the right fit for their dogs for boarding.

For example you Crate dogs that come into your care, so Dogs that have never been crated would be better in a home which doesn't crate dogs.

I have a Large Backyard space with an agility course, so I do well with the high energy dogs to burn off thier energy, even with hard pullers on leash, I usually burn some energy off for 5 - 10 mins playing in the yard, then walk them, they do much better, so I wouldn't expect high energy dogs to be a good fit without a fenced in backyard with adequate space for them to run.

If they have resource guarding issues would be better in a no kid, or other animals home.

Really just about knowing your dog, and what would be the best environment for them while you go away, don't try to look for just what environment they already have, but what could possibly be an even better environment for them! Let them have a vacation too!

Just Had this dog dropped off at 7:45 this morning 😁. The app said 5am-7am but I did message the owner the night prior to confirm drop off time, and gave me a 7-7:30am window.

So I got up at 6:45.
