The water from the taps in St. Albert is not great and very hard. Ps best place I’ve found was save on. The other locations water tastes odd
There’s a dividend app that can do that too. Search the ticker symbol, add the amount and buy price and it’ll advise you your annual and monthly dividends to drip.
Welcome, ours is assessed around 415k and coming in around 4800 per year in taxes. Commute to Edmonton depends on construction. There’s two seasons, winter and construction. Estimate 20-25 mins travel time. Day care can be anywhere from immediate opening to 1.5yr wait list. Get on their wait lists as soon as possible. Also, ignore most locals recommendations for food. Their taste in food is awful. Go in to Edmonton for most dining. Toast is good for breakfast but there is a bit of a wait. Get there earlier and wait a bit.
Is still play it but my playing wouldn’t be very good due to how ill I’d just been.
Forgive me but my first immediate thought was “fuck you”. No disrespect but, fuck you.
As a 15 yr old, maybe do this. Put $45 per month or bi-weekly into an index fund tied to the S&P. Something like VOO or VFV if you’re Canadian. Do this regularly and avoid looking at peaks and valleys. Just add to it regularly. The compound interest and growth you’d likely see will make you a millionaire before retirement. Just never pull it out. You can buy partial amounts though E*Trade or fidelity in the states or wealth simple in Canada.
Folks are cagey awaiting the fed to announce no new rate cuts
Looking for recommendations for a USA sourced dividend paying etf for us Canucks? I don’t like Canadian stocks other than a couple individual stock and would like to hold an etf in my tfsa that generates dividends that I can use if I want to
USA sourced dividend paying ETF for us Canucks
Up 10% on the year but most of my portfolio is tied to us stocks and S&P. Same as other folks, vfv, xeqt and individual dividend stocks like Nvidia Google and Apple
Muff should always be first in the chain imo. Second after tuner

As for contributions, try this as you’re fairly young and have a lot of time to accumulate. Take every bonus and put it into your rrsp and then use your tax returns as your bonus. Also, increase your investment percentage when you get a raise by the percent that tour wage increased by or when you get a new higher paying job rather than a new car. You’ll find you won’t miss the difference but your assets will grow.
Another fyi, traditionally Canadian banks have charged some of the highest fees in the world for investors. A 2% MER might not seem like much but over the course of your lifetime you’ll be spending likely half a million dollars to pay someone to under perform what you could have done yourself. Why get a 4-6% return annually from the bank when you can get 9-10% and grow with compound interest more easily. Pull most things out of the bank. I use Wealthsimple to buy things myself, Manulife from work and keep a TFSA with my bank that I use for emergency fund and to buy and sell individual stocks. (I’ll likely close that and go through a brokerage to self manage the tfsa too but for now it’s easy, the return has been 11-12% and it automatically pulls from my account to invest every past period.)
Sonoran this I agree with you, xxi haven’t been to yet, Socrates has been awful the three times I’ve been. I prefer toast. Jacks is ok but really really overpriced. As mediocre fries and you’re paying sit down dinner prices.
