i know this post is old but this exact thing happened to me on spiro and never got better until months after i went off it. i wonder why doctors don’t know about this side effect/write it off

I’m on slate run i like it. The first week or two i had bad anxiety but once i adjusted to the medication it started working so well. I’ve been on it for almost a year. Although i am curious if name brand could be better

I have this exact lump and everything. Did you ever figure out what it is? Being dismissed by doctors and them saying my back is just shaped this way and am so desperate for an answer

i had these issues at the start but it went away once adjusted. i have heard of people being prescribed ”welloft”

i mean, it is so different for everyone but when i started bupropion, the first 2 or 3 weeks were strange. i was extremely tired slept a lot and had severe anxiety the first week, and then again and worse when we did the dosage increase from 150xl to 300xl. after giving it the full six weeks i started to absolutely love bupropion, it changed my life. i’d suggest giving it a full 6 weeks as recommended by doctors for bupropion to hit therapeutic dosage.

another thing- i had already been prescribed an anti anxiety med; (hydroxyzine) which i take as needed but during those first few weeks i did have to take which helped immensely.

the strange thing for me is it’s the opposite. i am not having the typical PMS symptoms i’ve had since i can remember which not saying that’s a bad thing but it is for sure strange. bupropion changes how dopamine is processed- and dopamine does have a relationship with testosterone. i’m sure many of us have also experienced an increase in sex drive which can also be related to testosterone.

there are very few studies i believe there was one in mice that did show increase in testosterone levels. i have seen posts about women experiencing abnormal periods, breast enlargement etc.

i’m on yasmin. i tried switching recently to sprintec and didn’t like it. i was having abnormal bleeding, and changes in my body that line up with when i started the bupropion.

Old post, but you seem so knowledgable. Any insight on being on birth control pill & Wellbutrin? Also, i have noticed a decrease in breast size. Any correlation? I did lose weight but my breasts have always been the same when my weight fluctuates. Not until Wellbutrin did i see a decrease in size. If you have any info lmk! This sucks): !

I realize this comment is from a year ago. But any insight on Wellbutrin causing your breasts to shrink??

Has anyone else here had the opposite affect? Bupropion causing breasts to get smaller than they were?
