No ragrets. Bought in Ludington/Manistee region about 8 years ago. Our place could be year-round if we wanted to make some adjustments. Great neighbors, a 30 min drive to hit either town. Off the beaten path, in the trees and on a river, enough to feel away from it all. Its my happy place. We arent there every weekend, not even close, but its there waiting to give us happiness when we need to go. If we had to sell it, it would break my heart. My spouse loves to putter about fixing and planting. I putter about cleaning, fixing, and reading. The beach is a 20 min drive away. Enough room for plenty of our family, but most times it is just us two.

I have hair similar to yours. I have worn it long and short. Right now it is chin length. Easy maintenance! I wash it every 4th day, use dry shampoo on day 3, and some texture cream to add some interest. It looks great straight or if I decide to add waves. It dries in less than 5 minutes; I use a hairdryer to get mostly dry and then with a round brush attachment to add a bend if desired. Easy peasy. I was somewhat worried like you were when i did the chop that I would need to mess with it a bit more due to the short length. I used to air-dry too. I was pleasantly surprised. The dryer/round brush heat for a few seconds corrects any bedhead issues on days 2-3. Yes, its more involved than air dry, but it is seriously minimal.

That furniture fabric was Gawdawful. I cringed then seeing it and it has not gotten any better with age despite the nostalgia component.
I also have a quieter girl- she is plenty vocal if she gets really excited, but doesnt bark randomly. We always attributed it to her being raised with our āsilentā husky (he only chuffed to be let in, and we had to group howl to get him to yowl a bit). But no worries!! We are not deprived- we have plenty of noise coming from our 2 boy corgis- one woofs at nothing at all times and the other splits our eardrums with enthusiasm over everything.

That is truly unfortunate! If the shoe was on the other foot Im sure youād never hear the end of it.
The solution to that is to call their ass at 1am from work repeatedly until it gets through their thick skull that sleep is best not interrupted.
