so my kit cat clock fell. i noticed the magnet near that the tail clips onto had also fallen out, so i put it back in thinki g that would fix it, but it still doesnt animate. any ideas?

Hi all. I play a 4003. I strum more than pluck in nearly every song I play, and I constantly am hitting the pick up switch. I only ever use the neck pick up. If i hit the switch it goes to the bridge pick up, which is so weak itsnlike turning down the volume by 75%. Ive tried tape with no success. Any suggestions?

Would it be worth bringing to a tech to switch the switch so that neck pick up is activated in the down position rather than up?

I had to take a class at another college that my college didnt offer. They want me to pay $1,500 before they'll send the transcript to my school. The class was a joke, 4 weeks long, asynchronous, online. Learned nothing. Legitimately felt like a diploma mill, yet its an accreditted state university.

Is there some scheme I can pull to get them to send my transcript without paying?

I had to transfers schools in 2021 after the pandemic. My degree requires a foreign language. I had already taken 2 levels of a foreign language at my first school. My second school did not offer the same language. During my advising appointment I asked if I could take 1 and 2 of another language to complete the requirement, to which I was told yes.

So I signed up, took both the 2 language courses, and then I met with the head of the language department who told me it wouldn't count as fulfilling the requirement.

So I took 2 classes I didn't need to take, costing hundreds of dollars, because an advisor at the school told me it would fulfill the requirement. I also wasted two semesters taking these unnecessary classes. Had I known it wasn't going to fulfill the requirement I would not have wasted my time taking the classes, and I would've completed the first language classes online at another institution.

They refuse to budge on this and I find it shocking. I was given bad advising and now im on the hook to complete this requirement that should've been done years ago. What do I do?

UPDATE I emailed the deans office on Thursday and they called me today, a couple of hours after I made this post. In the call, the associate dean told me that he had a meeting that they had a meeting with the dean, and head of languages, to which they all agreed that me having to take a 4th level of a language was redundant and unncessary. So after many years of pleading this case and bringing it eventually to the dean, it all worked out and there was a happy ending.
