Shadow of Mordor is the better game. I feel it was far less tedious. I feel the aggressive respawns in shadow of war left the whole experience feeling rather pointless. Not two minutes after clearing out an entire fortress of all enemies … the entire enemy force respawned. This happens again and again. I preferred the original
Meditations Marcus Aurelius.
I don’t like the level design at all. They kept the tedium of the 90s.

It’s almost perfect… it’s dogfighting needs better targeting like Rebel Galaxy outlaw or Ace combat so it’s less two ships circle strafing each other or 2 ships flying at and then past each other. It should feel more like a chase.
Every thing else is bang on. Just some tweaking there and it would be a 10!
Gotta have it. I love using the sidearm as a primary weapon. It’s punchy and shitload of fun. But you need other weapons for certain enemies. Judgment makes carrying a pistol all but impossible. I’d like that instant swap hell yea

This is where Halo fucks up too. That pistol is amazing and no reason why Master Chief can’t carry two long guns and a pistol. He’s always seen with a rifle on his back.

In Gears 5 we have to choose to kill Del or JD, and it’s supposed to be a Sophie’s choice but there is no way I’m killing Marcus’ kid before they can patch things up. I fucking hate that story point, but the choice was easy to make.

Small teams worry about “tough stretches” while big clubs just play the games as they come. Roma should fear no club and they should fear us. There are 19 teams you have to play twice. There is no where to hide. If you want top 4 you have to take it from the other top sides. Be the club they fear.
It’s inevitable that there will be a run of games against top sides… they will not be perfectly sprinkled in throughout the calendar. Nut up, and fucking win. I really like the Grinder from borderlands the pre sequel. You put in 3 weapons of the same class pull the lever add some crystals if you wish and pray for something special. I’ve gotten a couple of really sweet weapons.
