Well, we can all see why the Jays are where they are at.

This is so Mariner level sadness by them.

Vintage bases loaded JP at bat.

Doesn't chase bullshit. Gets that count. GG.

2 consecutive extra base hits by Julio is awesome but they need to stop saying he's back until he shows it over more time.

Hard to win games where you let their bad hitters get on in front of their superstar.

You can't give up multiple hits to someone completely garbage like McCann and take yourself seriously.

Guy is OPSing similar to Polanco.

Nothing like probably scoring one run total in a series to really make us feel great about our team.

The fact that the Orioles got a player in the second round as good as Gunnar that is on pace for a 12 WAR season that is so unbelievably better than Julio in virtually every facet is very frustrating.

That needed to drop.

At some point in time, things need to go the Mariners way.

Astros won again.

Gonna be really hard to fathom leaving the Blue Jays series still leading the division.

I guess the sage didn't work.

Only 2 games ahead of Houston now. Probably going to be swept tomorrow for the first time this year (the probable AL all star starting pitcher faces us tomorrow so that will surely be fun.)

Very real chance this team is in second place by the end of the Blue Jays series this weekend. 5 straight series losses on the year.

I don't really view this as just a slump by the offense. This is an offense that found a way to fall way short of their projected expectations pretty much from the get go and then managed to start hitting so much more poorly than what they were doing when they were scraping by for wins that just about everyone in our lineup save for a handful would be DFAed or benched or sent down by every other playoff hopeful team now.

This is sadly a team of losers right now. With no end in sight.

Last years games against the Orioles were so much more interesting than this years.

At least the Yankees have been almost as bad as we have during this current losing fest and they've lost the first 2 games in a series against a team we swept early in the year.

Of course Burnes tomorrow. Assumed first sweep of the year.

You can't really be a free swinger without bat to ball skills. That combination doesn't work.

Julio is a bad weak away from being sub .600 OPS/sub 80 wRC+.

The fact that the Astros are doing what they are doing right now WITHOUT Kyle Tucker just goes to show how important having a real offense is and adjust how you can with the pitching is way better than whatever the fuck we are doing/capable of.

Raley being a near auto out when put in the top half of the lineup is fun.

I guess just park his ass 6th or 7th permanently. God forbid anyone step up and be a middle of the order bat for us.

Well, people should be happy that Rojas got to face a lefty tonight.

They haven't even reached the point where they bench him. A DFA is probably a long ways off.

Polanco hasn't hit a homerun since May 3rd.

I know he's had the combination of bad and hurt but exactly 2 months since the last homerun is wild. This was the 3 hole hitter going into the season, lol.

Just not allowed to have a second baseman that isn't terrible.

Huh. Story coming out now that Logan Evans won't be put in the bullpen and going back to a starter on the AA team.

But at what point do we as a fanbase get to see them in a world series? It's been just short of a half of a century. The only team to never be there.

If the owners can get just as much money/support from fans that will be happy no matter what, what incentive is there to do better? That is what is frustrating.

Real lineups figure things out the second and third time through the lineup even against good pitchers like Gilbert.

The Mariners on the other hand...
