Michigander here! You gotta be living in a small town or way up north because we have plenty of music, culture, food. Tractor pulls are only in farm towns or county fairs. Lots of summer festivals here. Wine tours if that's your thing. Beautiful fall tours. It does get gray in the winter, but we barely had any snow where I am. Bought a light lamp which helps during January and February. Detroit Institute of Art is a fabulous place to visit. South Haven along Lake Michigan is an artists paradise during the summer. Anywhere around most college towns where you might look to visit.
