Maybe it’s basic - but it’s also just a solid group of well designed mons. Other gens might have more variety but hard to find a better group of pokemon that are obtainable throughout the game and enjoyable to play with.
Unpopular opinion but I prefer all natural peanut butter cups over Reeces. The peanut butter in reeces has so much added sugar that it loses a lot of that nutty, salty, roasted peanut flavor that pairs so well with chocolate.

At the end of the day, any job where you are working for a profit seeking entity has you participating in capitalism and indirectly supporting its perpetuation. It’s up to your judgment whether that aligns with your personal values or not. I worked in the private sector for a few years and ultimately had to leave for a government job because I became deeply conflicted about supporting a corporation. If you feel morally conflicted about your work seek out a position at a nonprofit or government institution. It may be easier to find purpose in your work.

I’m going to be in Bozeman for a little over a month and want to learn how to climb. Are there any climbing or bouldering gyms that have good introductory classes for beginners? Also would prefer something that isn’t super expensive.
Antitrust Regulation - Good or Bad?
What do socialist think about todays growing antitrust enforcement that creates more competition in the marketplace? I’ve seen arguments for and against.
I personally think more competition only reinforces the dogma of capitalism that markets create better outcomes for everyone. It also makes it harder for labor to organize and demand concessions from employers if you have to organize multiple workplaces in the same industry.
Interested to hear others thoughts though.

I’m looking to pick up some hiking shoes with better traction for a San Gorgonio accent this upcoming weekend. I did Cactus 2 Clouds last weekend in some older sneakers and hiked through significant snow to reach the summit. Looking to get some shoes with better tread and a high ankle maybe to keep the snow out. I have a pair of Altra LPs that I could strap some gaiters to, but was wondering if anyone had other suggestions. I’ve heard good things about the Topo trailventure 2 ($100 Amazon). Should I go for something like that or would my LPs with the gaiters cut it? Also looking at the LP mid hikers.
