For the record, I think as a parent going even if your child doesn't want to is fine. You have to make parenting decisions for what is right for your family. I've taught this unit and there are a lot of parents that want to be there so the same language and messages are communicated for the child. That said, I certainly would respect the fact that this is an obviously sensitive topic for a 5th grader and not blast it all over the internet how uncomfortable she was and how great I felt about being there. Super Shitty Parenting!

It’s sad how little respect she has for her children. I mean, she has to know their teachers and classmates parents see this.

I can’t imagine having to advertise that my husband and I have sex. I mean, it’s implied so advertising it shows how immature she is.

Last night her child brought her a huge bowl of ice cream. I guess I don't get the difference between candy and ice cream--although I'd argue forcing anyone to give up something to the extreme is not a healthy way to deal with over consumption of candy.

She also mentioned yesterday her boys acted like animals at the doctor. Maybe Braun should add that to his “life lessons with dad” lectures. They are too old to not behave at the doctor’s office. Of course Tara just laughed it off and took them out to eat.

She seems to have a very "eclectic" vibe and this is no different. It also happens when you ask random people on the internet to vote in a box if they think yellow cabinets, crazy lighting and other things are a good idea. I think it shows her real personality that she is happy when "karma" hits others. Apparently she is excited that someone had something unfortunate happen to them.
