Does anyone have a favorite indie shop that does shower steamers? I haven't found any, not sure if anyone makes them. Thanks!
I crate my guy when I cannot supervise him. We've always used a wire crate with no issues, just make sure to remove any collars, harnesses, or clothing he may have on so that nothing snags. I prefer wire crates because they usually have better airflow. My guy gets pretty warm when he seizes. Also, I find it's easier to see the dog and pull them out if needed.
I'm so sorry you're dealing with this.
Just focus on keeping hydrated to let your body heal. Electrolytes, broth, etc.
More smoke and mirrors. While the texts were absolutely unprofessional, despicable, and exposed what a vile human being this person is, the real issue as it pertains to his job is that he never investigated unbiased - he already had his narrative and "investigated" only what fit that narrative.
I love the freckles. You have a very warm and friendly face and think you look great as you are. Not sure how you feel about this suggestion, but I think you could really rock a fun, vibrant hair color - teal, magenta, etc. It does require upkeep and is not for everyone, but I think it would look killer on you.
If you're in the US, I know that Pennsylvania has filial care laws mandating this.
I think being brutally honest - in private, not in front of anyone - is the way to go. Make sure he knows how to clean himself (have you seen the posts from women going on dates, or god forbid, marrying grown men that don't know how to wipe/clean their backside? Don't let nephew grow into this guy!) Also maybe check to see that he knows how to do laundry in case mom and dad are overlooking that. The detergents for workout clothes are awesome for getting out armpit smells.
If you're able, it might be nice to take him out to shop for some products - a good antiperspirant, body wash, face cleanser, foot powder, antibacterial "in between showers" wipes, etc. I think teenage boys really appreciate this stuff, but it's not always cool to ask for it as a guy.
Smokewood should be back closer to fall. It's on my list as well, I'm just about out. If you try it, let me know what you think. It's my HG honey scent.
I believe he is currently suspended with pay. He is still entitled to a status hearing. He is still employed by MSP.
I don't have much in the way of bread-y scents as they are not really my thing, but I figured I would include some of my favorite kitchen witch scents:
Haus of Gloi's Insalata Nocturna (In the night garden. Green Bolivian lemon, rubbed tomato leaf, black fig syrup, and basil)
Amorphous' Witch House (Black patchouli, plum wine, cinnamon smoke, black honey, blueberry, and burning sage)
Crow and Pebble's Black Cat Winking (A tiny cottage garden overgrown with wisteria, lavender and honeysuckle where black pepper and fuzzy black musk perch on top of a small cedar chest)
Crow and Pebble's Ghost Whale (Stormy sea air, clary sage, black pepper, jasmine green tea, ambergris, cedar and agarwood) I'm in New England and this has always given me kitchen-witch-in-seaside-village-hurrying-back-to-her-cottage-from-village-market-before-fall-storm-kicks-up vibes. A very specific type of kitchen witch that you may or may not be going for.
Hexennacht's Frau Perchta (Soft, spiced cookies, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, molasses, honey, powdered sugar, black pepper) That gourmand, sweet, spicy kitchen witch scent that you might not be looking for, but thought I'd mention because this is peak fall/winter kitchen witch to me.
PULP's An Accidental Interloper (Featured Notes: Green tea, clary sage, rose geranium, evergreen boughs, white patchouli, vetiver and sweet amber musk) There is nothing in this that screams traditional kitchen witch, but it is so fresh, and otherworldly-like. It reminds me of early mornings in the garden, weeding and watering before the sun comes up.
Solstice Scent's Smokewood Apiary (Smoked Honey, Creamed Honey, Beeswax, Amber, Wooden Frames, Ginger & Vanilla) I'm a beekeeper and this is total beekeeper vibes. A kitchen witch tending and talking to her hives. Honey and wax. The calming smoke from the smoker. The fresh scent of old frames heavy with honey, wax, and propolis.
Sorcellerie's Sit for a Spell (Salted cantaloupe, a light drizzle of wild rosemary honey, fresh spring air, ambrette seed, and winding honeysuckle vines) Summer kitchen witch
Stone & Wit's Why Would You Make This? (Watermelon, lime, bergamot, paprika, raisins, apples, Sichuan pepper) Not at all your typical kitchen witch scent, but could easily be a beginner kitchen witch trying out concoctions! A really fun, different summer scent.
It's your practice. You make the rules, no one else.
This was my question as well. Is he fired or are they just shuffling him around? I'd imagine they couldn't just fire him this quickly with the union and all, but I'm not sure.
Thank you for putting in the work to raise a good human!
Great attitude to have at church
I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for giving him the years he did have, so many pitties are not that lucky. He looks like such a happy boy.
I think this is a good example of people putting aside their differences to support truth and a common goal. If only that could spill over into other issues in our society.
Karen Read is innocent and I hate Turtleboy. Not sure where I'd fit in on the Venn diagram.
I don't know if I'd call it a ritual, but putting my phone on silent and taking my dog for a walk. No distractions, getting both of our bodies moving, and being in the moment enjoying the company of my best friend. We do this two, if not three, times a day without fail. Good way to unplug and ground myself.
Also, I am very into indulgent bath and body products. I have a shower ritual every night where I decide what I want to use and take a good shower to wash the worries of the day away. Another good way to unplug and enjoy being in the moment.
I'd want to know for sure what it is made of before using it. Some are only decorative, but if you can be sure it's cast iron or similar I don't see why you couldn't use it. I have an old smelting pot I use for burning small things.
He's either got some real shit on his wife, or she's too stupid to leave him. There is no way I'd be "standing by my man" if he did something like that. Go live with your best friend/sister honey, I'm done with ya. Then again, I'm in the middle of a divorce, so "for better, for worst" only goes so far for me LOL
New England! But lived in central NY for a short time as a wee toddler while my mom was doing a residency after vet school. I don't remember much about living there, but we'd visit often growing up, so I know the upstate, downstate, central, and western distinctions. I also spent time living in Boston/Quincy early in my career and keep up on the news in that area which is why I've been following this case. I'd say MA is split more Boston/metro west, central, western, and the Cape/islands.
Instant crush when guys had this cut
Was there ever a trend that you wish that you didn't get involved in as a kid. Mine would be the curtain cut because my parents were like just give him that hair cut from TV lol.
