It’s most likely because of the hormonal change of puberty ending. A lot of people lose their curly hair once puberty ends. Another hormonal event like pregnancy or birth control may bring them back one day, it’s hard to say. My hair was wavy my whole life and only became curly after pregnancy.

Lattafa Yara doesn’t smell at all like a strawberry milkshake to me. It just smells like shampoo.

This is what Sweet Tooth by Sabrina Carpenter smells like to me.

So my hair is low porosity too and I tend to apply products like cream and gel more sparingly and I focus on the ends of the hair and don’t apply any products at the roots. This helps keep my hair moisturized but not weighed down.

I think what makes a shampoo clarifying is that it has stronger surfactants and is more stripping. They are made to be used less often than regular shampoos. One really popular clarifying shampoo is the Oaui Detox shampoo, it’s kind of expensive but Sephora sells small bottles that last me a long time.

Your hair seems wavy and low porosity, I would stay away from most products marketed for curly hair as they contain moisturizing ingredients that are too heavy for your hair type and will cause it to look weighed down and greasy over time. Also try adding in a clarifying shampoo once a week.

As the other commenter suggested, I would try finding a dupe for Melanie Martinez Crybaby Perfume Milk. It’s discontinued and very rare and expensive, but there are several dupes available. I got mine from Miim Miic, it’s called Miim Miic No. 52 and smells to me just like what you are describing.

I tried Viktor & Rolf Bonbon and the opening was nice but the drydown was just so sickly sweet and cloying. A few hours later I noticed I was in a terrible angry mood, and I realized it was because of the sickeningly sweet smell wafting from my wrists.

I’m a Musk by Finery (sold at Target). Smells like fresh laundry to me. I like putting it on after I get out of the shower.

I put it on the shower wall and ball it up at the end like others have said, but I also use something I got off Amazon that you stick on your shower wall and it helps get the hair off your hand. I don’t think Amazon links are allowed here, but look up the HairyGrabster. It was on that show Shark Tank. They are kind of small though, so I recommend buying multiple.

Not the person you’re replying to, but I’m allergic to fragrance and get a bumpy, scaly rash if I spray it on my skin.

Someone else recommended this but I came here to also recommend Dulce by Rosie Jane. It smells similar to Bianco Latte but a little… colder, if that makes any sense? Like melted vanilla bean ice cream.

Finery I’m a Musk smells very fresh and clean to me. It’s about 30 bucks from Target.

Vanilla Potion by Tru Fragrance. I will never stop raving about this perfume.

Hoodapunkins on Harbor Blvd has them.

One of the best vanilla perfumes I’ve found is Vanilla Potion, they sell it at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s for about $15 if you are in the US. To me it smells a lot like Burberry Goddess. Brand is Tru Fragrance but it doesn’t say on the bottle. I also like Eilish No. 1 and Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, these are somewhat more expensive but still within an affordable price range.

I got to sample the new I Am Her fragrance at Sephora which has an oud note and it smells great and I think will be a good fragrance for summer. It’s been sold out for a while, though.

I bet you would like the new Kayali Vanilla Rock Candy Sugar.

Looks 2A to me. 2C/3A would be ringlets.

It’s Tru Fragrance, which also makes Le Monde Gourmand. A lot of their perfumes are only available at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. I HIGHLY recommend looking for a bottle of their Vanilla Potion. To me it smells a lot like Burberry Goddess.
