The porcupine mountains present an absolutely STUNNING view of our state you will not see anywhere else. Also, go to Bond Falls (use to be state camp ground) it has the best water fall that rivals Tahquamenon.
I’d be willing an hour away or so to find a cheaper flight. However, for the flight back home, idk if I could muster up the energy to drive back. The way I see it, vacations are for me to indulge. Therefore, spending some extra money here and there for convenience is okay with me!
Went at the end of October of last year and the weather wasn’t “too” hot. Naturally Florida is a hot place, the closer you go to the end/beginning of the year the better off you’ll be to enjoy colder weather.
