“I’m still Pimp C bitch, so what the fuck is up? Puttin powder on da streets cuz I got big fuckin nuts.”

I bought a Cadillac and threw dem thangs on that bitch🔥

Tbf, the plate says Dekalb. Outside the metro ATL tho, it’s a whole other story

Exactly! We’re not a destination that most players seek.

I like how the last pair is labeled “Retro” like, wait, when tf did these INITIALLY release?!? Lol

Talked about and heavily played song here in GA too. Shit went hard next to “Lights Off”

Lol I worked at a marketing agency where there were only 4 of us and we called ourselves “The Black Delegation.” We’d always have meetings after the big “all hands” team meetings where we’d discuss the foolishness that came from it. I don’t work there anymore (thank God) but we all still close.

Meanwhile, 4hrs east in Spokane on Sprague, you’ll see the same thing. But they’ll leave that alone lol.

Lol true. I was going to go the same route. I’m a southerner tho. That song was on my “smoked out” mixtape cd back in the day along with Koopsta Knicca’s - Front a busta and Smoking on a J. Same sound. Same vibe.

Maaaan big shout out to you for this. One of my favorite cuts by them and it never gets old. The grimy recording, the vocal samples…that track is classic!

There’s a skit on Stillmatic where he laughs with his crew as they’re shootin dice

Same color doesn’t necessarily mean same team

Bootlickers, red pillers, and cowardly racists all here in abundance. This sub has gone to shit and the mods don’t care.

Ah, so this where the brigade is now. Noted.

Never said it was an excuse, and I’m not defending the kid’s behavior. I was addressing the, now deleted, parent comment. That kid is, who he is, at this moment in time, if that’s even really how he is. Could be scripted for the internet. Could be showing off for the camera. He could be emulating siblings, a father figure, or YouTubers. Who knows? But I ain’t here to throw stones when we all live in glass houses.

I agree, sometimes there aren’t enough people. However the people in the community can only do so much. Local government (and govt in general), the people who are supposed to be in service of the people in the communities, should provide aid as well. But even then, they can be limited by budget or admin capacity. So who do they go to next? The state? They could be facing the same problems. So it’s above them as well. Again though, this only addresses a fractional part of a much bigger issue.

It’s bigger than just simply picking up trash off the street. Not insulting your intelligence here. People do what they can within their capacity. I’m sure people notice it, and would like to get it cleaned up…someday. But when you facing a housing crisis with exploitative rent in some places, food poverty, lack of sustainable (and affordable) child care, and stretching your check week to week the best you can…the trash can wait. There are more pressing issues to tend to first.

As far as the dudes who are doing nothing but sitting there, it sucks to see it, but there are burnouts everywhere in every community. And yes, we can’t reverse racial disparity, it’s here. There are SOME officials and community organizations working to close the gap. But we’ll have to agree to disagree that everything falls on the people in the community to reverse/fix everything. I don’t believe it’s that cut and dry.
