Why isn't the Mazama chute on Hood more popular? It seems like it's the safest route and thus standard route since it avoids the catwalk but I see a lot of people taking old chute instead.
It's not due to costs. It's due to popularity. It was nearly impossible to find a match of snowday or dropshot before the change. Now that you only have one, it funnels a lot of people that would've been playing dropshot into snowday and vice versa.
I've been playing rocket league since before hoops, dropshot, and rumble even existed. I've seen the game evolve in a lot a ways. I fully support them only having one, and it rotating every season.
Picaridin is 100% better than deet overall.
No smell, doesn't melt plastic, and works equally as well.
The comments surprised me. It makes total sense. If you were a school official and saw this, you would have to determine if it's some sort of new racist messaging.
I'm not saying they handled it in the best way possible, but I get why they did it.
Not quite. You have to pay for a data plan for just your car in order to use spotify.
The price of a permit should be based on experience.
Never climbed a mountain before? $100k
Climbed 5 of the 7 summits unguided? $2k
From reading the article, it seems that she stated that low-level crimes that take up resources shouldn't be prosecuted in order to relieve strain on the system. I tried downloading the file from the link in the article but it seems the link is corrupt.
As far as the registry, it was specifically calling out a registry that had old and incorrect information. It is not updated regularly. False information is worse that no information in most situations.
Most important, but decided to drop CarPlay and Android Auto. It's crazy how money hungry GM and so many other companies have gotten. I'm not paying $35k minimum to have to pay a monthly subscription to use spotify in my car.
I will never buy a vehicle that requires a subscription for basic functions.
It depends on the situation. For me, I love climbing and plan on doing Denali. I would love to do Everest but I don't have the time to.
If I had to choose between Everest and a different 8000m peak, I would choose Everest simply because I would likely never have the time again.
I have a bit of experience, and they're right. Everest is by no means an easy climb.
Kili is mostly just a long walk up. I know tons of people that have done Kili. Everest kills people randomly. Avalanches, HAPE/HACE, AMS, and frostbite are some of the ways you can die.
Just because you have money doesn't mean you shouldn't get to live your dream.
It has a lot to do with access. Modern gear makes climbing safer and easier. The internet also makes it much easier to connect with companies who do guided climbs.
The biggest issue is that guide services have lowered their standards. You needed experience on real mountains before climbing. Now you can go with no experience.
They do have a permit system in place. The issue is that Everest provides a significant portion of money to the Nepalese economy.
What if they did it with their own gear and supplies? Not everyone that climbs Everest is a terrible person.
Kinda. Glaciers move really slowly and most of the structures aren't there year round. It's like a super slow treadmill. Each year, you take another step forward to avoid falling off.
Why? Not everyone is disrespectful to the mountain. Some of those people didn't hire a guide and are doing it with their own gear.
I want to climb Everest one day. I want to stand on the literal top of the world. Not to brag or show off, but to feel it. It truly sucks that there are so many people that do it for clout but that's not my fault or going to prevent me from achieving a dream.
Impossible since they're on a glacier, and glaciers move slowly over time.
K2 is nothing like this. Very few mountains in the world are like this.
The problem is that people are climbing it. The problem is that people aren't respecting it.
Take a look at Denali. It's still pristine. That's because it's climbed by real mountaineers. Mountaineers care a lot about the mountains and almost always pack in and pack out.
A big portion of people on Everest don't know how to put on crampons the right way. It truly is a tourist attraction at this point and not a mountaineering destination.
The biggest problem is that it's a glacier and glaciers move. Every year, the base camp looks a little different as a result.
During the winter, there are a lot of avalanches as well.
Looking for a 25% off so I can buy a trailer. Been waiting for a few months and haven't gotten one.
Lmao, injured? Please describe your "injuries" for us.
Then why did they get rid of Solo Standard mode?
It was because it took players away from the normal 3v3 mode. It's the exact same scenario here.
