That’s exactly how it went with me too, I got out of bed and went to living room to avoid waking husband up because I felt just weird. I don’t know how to put it. Just weird. I went to the nursery and took twins sheets off beds to wash them and prepare the nursery since I couldn’t sleep anyways. Then I sat in glider and tried falling asleep. I nodded off and woke up feeling even weirder and my husband came in and asked me if I was going into labor. I was confused because I wasn’t having any pains other than normal pressure. But I just felt off, I think I might’ve been in labor all night and just didn’t know it. But this was all at like 2am. I didn’t even call my OB until I was almost pooping on myself and holding a trash can against my chest because I couldn’t stop puking at 10am. And got to hospital around 11:30. 12pm when I was finally looked at I was dilated to a 4. By 1:40 I was dilated to an 8 when they were prepping me for my emergency c section. Koe (baby A) had an MCI so I had no choice but to have c section.

I just hope someone sees these stories and gets looked at a lot sooner than people like you, a couple others that commented and I did. I thought I got food poisoning. The possibility of labor didn’t even cross my mind. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Jesus it’s terrifying! I never felt anything. My stomach was tight and stiff. But never felt pain. But with my youngest singleton (completely natural besides Pitocin no pain meds at all) I felt everything. The contractions from the very start. It got unbearable at 6cm. They told me I was “lucky” but I feel as if it was the complete opposite. Because if I waited it out thinking it was just something I ate like originally planned it would’ve been BAD.. but if I felt anything I would’ve already been at the L&D and hopefully would’ve been able to stop the labor.

I always heard of “silent labor” and “silent pregnancies” but I honestly never believed them.
