Einar Solberg - Blue Light (The first couple minutes of this song contain guest vocals sung by Asger Mygind). Einar is the vocalist for Leprous if you wanna check them out too. They just released a new song and have a new album coming out in August.

Anathema - Close Your Eyes

Yeah. I think something too heavy from BTBAM would've turned op off, though. Start with something lighter and let them find out for themself.

Try Steven Wilson's latest album, The Harmony Codex. Released last year.

Double Helix is great. Bad Habits is my favorite.

Glad you're liking them! If you explore their discography further, I highly recommend you start with their 2012 album, Weather Systems. Internal Landscapes is the closing track on that album. Some of the most beautifully written melodies you will ever listen to.

Try these songs from Anathema. They have a similar vibe to Strangers:

A Simple Mistake (Similar mild yelling vocals in the outro.)

Internal Landscapes (The first part of this song is a speech. The song really kicks off a little after 2 minutes in.)

Springfield

Ariel

I gave you 1 song from each of their latest 4 albums. Their older albums don't really have the same post-progressive/atmospheric rock sound that the new albums have.
