Any issue with storing my miter saw on its side? I have a rigid mobile stand that folds up so the saw base is perpendicular to the ground but was wondering if there are long term effects from storing it like this?
Most of the reasons pharmacies don’t give more than 30 days supply is due to their PBM contracts not allowing it. They force you to use a pharmacy that they own for a 90 day supply. It is not a pharmacy stock issue for most prescription.
Many pharmacies would love to fill it for 90 days as they wouldn’t lose customers to a mail order pharmacy that is owned by the insurance company / PBM / all the other vertically integrated parts of the business.
OHSU is an academic/research hospital and also pays very well. New nurses with an associates degree start out around $52/hr. Lots of specialties as well if you have a specific focus or unit you would like.
Absolutely. I know in my personal experience that is true as far as being ahead of ODFW but wasn’t sure if that was just my area or statewide.
Regardless of peoples’ stance on wolves, I wonder ODFWs guess is for wolves that are beyond the confirmed number. Wolves are prolific in their breeding and expanding with their natural range and reproductive biology.
I have an issue with how they count other animals, like elk and deer, with their flyover survey and other limited data and I don’t feel like they have super reliable data. Not really their fault with the limited manpower they have but still. The Walla Walla hunting unit is a great example. Rough terrain and dense cover means I really doubt they get a good feel of how many animals are really in that area. I’m going off memory but I feel like their elk census for that unit stayed exactly the same the past 2-3 years which makes me really skeptical of their methodology for counting animals.
Just something I have been wondering about the past couple years.
I love making fresh tomato sauce. I use the recipe I saw in a Kenji video and it is great. He has you use two different types of tomatoes though. And you grate the roma ones to keep the skin out.
The Oregon employer ID was 018650121
Fed employer TIN was 92-3263562
But I had family leave so I’m not sure if they have different number for medical leave.
It’s a 1099-G and all I had to enter was the total amount received as well as the state and federal taxes withheld. You will also need the employer ID for the employment department. I might be missing something but you can definitely do it if you know those numbers.
Edit: you need the TIN and also the Oregon ID for the employment department.
Not much really but it can be really pretty. Make sure you have a full tank of gas when you are there cause there is not much there.
Referring to my earlier comment about PBMs, pharmacies are being squeezed financially and it means they cut cost to staffing often which also increases wait times. Granted Rite-Aid is a worse offender of this than most.
Another point is no pharmacy can be open to the public if a pharmacist is not physically present. So if they overwork their staff and they quit or no show for whatever reason the pharmacy can’t even open without a replacement, which a poorly run company like Rite Aid does not have many. Our local Rite Aid has randomly not opened almost several days a month due to this. It’s a real problem.
It can also be deceiving just how many prescriptions a pharmacy has to fill which makes delays common. But again Rite Aid is not run well.
Pharmacy Benefit Managers are squeezing pharmacies that aren’t vertically integrated with their parent company to death without making the prescriptions/insurance any cheaper for general patients. The smaller the pharmacy the harder and more impactful the squeeze.
I second the tools and stuff recommendation for this info. I also have the XGT 8 1/2 miter and usually use a 4AH battery and it works great. I have the 8 as well but haven’t really seen a need to use it for that saw. I am not a contractor using it all day though.
But to answer your question, the 8AH fits on the saw with no issues
Tax brackets only apply for the amount of money within that range. Your total gross income is not all taxed at the highest rate. You first fill up the 0% space, then the next bracket and so on.
Ya I just kind of voiced my frustrations with what I see locally. I admit that I do not have a great grasp of the nuance of this specific herd and situation. I appreciate the thought out response.
That is good to hear at least. I still don’t love the number but at least it’s not a money grab. Thanks for the response and I will take a step or two off my soapbox.
Ya the exact same thing is happening in my unit and it’s very frustrating as a local. Add the leasing of hunting rights during the season and then the damage control tags and it’s definitely a money maker.
At least most places around me that lease out premium hunting properties don’t also go crazy on the damage control tags since they want more elk around. But those ranches that are part timber and part grassland go hard on both accounts.
That may be the default and I’m sure the way that it is intended but it is not the reality of my area.
They are selling a hunt and using the damage control tags if and when an elk is killed. Usually a cow since landowners often prefer to have bulls for when they hunt.
That being said I also know of landowners that do not sell the tags and simply use them themselves.
You are right and I get that there is a difference. I am just saying that I dislike it.
Maybe I have also have a skewed opinion of it because the unit where I live and hunt is used as an “opportunity” unit where they give out crazy amounts of elk tags and our population has plummeted due to this as well as some other factors (disease, predators, drastic weather events). At the same time they are giving out many damage control tags which the landowners then sell.
Ya I still don’t love that amount but I can get over that. My main issue with this is the selling of these tags for an amount that is always increasing. It’s legitimately turning into a business for some large land owners. I do understand that it helps replace some of their lost value with damage but it seems to be reaching a point where it’s becoming profitable (at least in my area). And I hate the fact that they can kill them in the spring.
I am not completely against damage control tags but I think it needs to be implemented better and with some controls on the use of them.
Disregarding the fact that 80 tags for property damage seems very excessive, the main problem I have with ODFW’s policy is that often property owners sell these tags as well.
I am an elk hunter in Eastern Oregon and it is ridiculous that these land owners can sell these tags to people for up to $1500 per animal. And they aren’t even the bulls and are not even during the main season. So in essence landowners with damaged fences can sell tags given to them by ODFW for a person to go possibly kill a cow in the spring that might be pregnant. I really dislike this policy.
Completely disagree. I might even say the diabetic sticking themselves in the bathroom might be more dangerous to them with infection risk than the danger to the other passenger. It is not disgusting at all and is essential for that person’s health.
