Him on 2nd/3rd option usage (like we saw in 2022-23) will be much more efficient and effective offensively, and with more bodies and size next to him, he should be able to roam defensively like the DPOY-level guy we've seen he can be as well.

Weirdly managed to not get selected as All-Australian when he won the 2005 Coleman Medal too.

Funnily enough, Alistair Lynch at Fitzroy got selected as the All-Australian Full Back in 1993... In a season where took 143 marks and kicked 68 goals (including 7 bags of 5+) and 31 behinds as a forward.

Wasn't he basically a decent midfielder who had injury issues and failed to make the leap to that expected "next level" by age 25-26, who they then decided to use as a half back?

To be fair, Mitch did show a lot of genuine flashes up forward over a period of time.

Kind of skewed by the few times where it has all clicked. Counting this game, it's now 7/16 games where they've failed to crack 80 points.

Always sounded like someone had mis-spelled a more simple name like Kevin Bivens.

Kuminga is fine. He might not ever be a superstar, but he'll at least be a serviceable NBA player for a long time. Still many years away from even entering his prime as a player, and was a known project coming in, so he's still got time IMO. The only "urgency" or "behind schedule" to it was for continuing the Warriors dynasty, but that ship has well and truly sailed now anyway.

I don't know anything about any deal at NBC!

I mean we've subbed Dean out and played Howe forward, so the coaching staff mustn't see the defence as too much of an issue.

Getting shuffled around the whiteboard and in and out of the side week to week probably doesn't help, but he doesn't really have any standout traits as a footballer apart from pace, vibes, and energy.

Best game Sidebottom has played this year. Maybe he's not finished.

This commentary team really want Nate Caddy to happen, don't they?!
