The scanner messages come through as emails, so how are they not seeing them?

Would you do a package deal for the two claremont/lee omnis?

You don’t need to number them, but absolutely use punctuation and spaces between answers. I cannot even begin to express how many times I’ve been on a selecting committee and have seen responses that are a giant block of text. Maybe they answered all the KSAs correctly and well, but I’m not putting someone forward that sends in an application like that.

I don’t know what the KSAs are for that position, but it’s not a bad idea to put the title ‘planning and scheduling’ ‘budget operations’ etc, and then answer it. Like I said, preview the final result to make sure it all fits in the space provided for the responses. You want to make sure they’re all in there.

You asked the coolest location for an arena. Downtown Manhattan has literally everything you could ever want to do before or after a game within walking distance.

Oh that’s awesome. I stayed a bunch of years back at the Marriott city center and was able to enjoy a blue jays game from my room. Never went up there for a hockey game. It’s definitely on my list.

MSG is in the heart of Manhattan, and Penn station is literally downstairs. You can walk/train to basically everything you’d want.

Ok, so I’m not a tattoo artist, so explain this to me like I’m 5 - how in the fuck can someone fix this wonky ass lines without making them double or triple thick?

That is just awful.

It’s not immediate. It usually takes effect a few pay periods after your break in service.

As for the vacant route, you can request a hold down on it for the time being. And there’s a good possibility you’d get converted into that position.

When a regular cases up their mail for someone else or pivots, and goes home using their leave.

The supervisor put in for an opening at the office they (and another office) were being rolled in to, and ended up there before moving on to become a postmaster in a different town. There is a postmaster and 2 full time clerks and one PTF clerk in that building.

Level 20 with carriers and a supervisor downgraded to an 18 without a supervisor. Building is still open for PO Boxes, retail, and passports. The money they saved by not having a supervisor is being spent in extra vehicle maintenance and gas, not to mention trying to heat and cool an empty building.

Your bid is working in two offices? If so, then you are not entitled to the mileage, as it is the job you agreed to. If you’re supposed to be in one office and they ask you to go help in another office, then you can put in for the mileage.

As a rangers fan I’m sure I can come up with about a dozen this century alone …

Are you a carrier? And if so, for how long?

You can have undertime, which can be made up with a pivot. But they cannot make you swipe out before your 8 hours. They could ask for volunteers to rack and roll, but a regular cannot be sent home early unless they want to go.

I mean, why make rules and regulations if no one cares to follow them? By the time the hold gets entered into the system and actually gets pulled out of the dps, the customer is back.

You aren’t supposed to accept a hold for less than three days. Unless it’s a customer I was super friendly with and wouldn’t mind doing a favor for, I’d 100% be as angry as that carrier.

Attachments won’t get read, and if you submit the application without the KSAs in the ‘summary of accomplishments’ section, it’ll get rejected right away.

Typos won’t disqualify you, but make sure when you enter the KSAs you preview the application before submitting it to make sure the entire thing fit in the space. If you write too much, it will get cut off, and that will also disqualify you as you didn’t answer all the KSAs.

They changed a box in the wall of a garden apartment I used to deliver to. Behind it was a letter with a 22 cent stamp as postage. It had to have been from before 87/88 because that’s when stamps went up to 25 cents.

We also found an express mail when getting a bad out if the hamper that was apparently never checked to make sure it was empty, the express was from three years before we found it. Going from Chicago to Chicago. It somehow ended up in New Jersey.

It’s not new, it’s policy. When you sign it, make sure that the leave was entered correctly.

Bride was a little overweight. (Younger) Brother of the groom in his speech says that he ‘always wanted a big sister, and now he has a BIG sister.’

There was much groaning.

Yes the ice sucked, but I was watching the Florida skaters struggle with it as well. Tkachuk even took a tripping penalty because he lost an edge on the crap ice.
