This sub seems generally down on Hunter but I think the NBA values big long wings more than fans believe. There are a lot of teams who covet Hunter, if we are helping to facilitate this trade I am against sending out any capital. Learn from your mistakes, Schlenk was shrewd with asset management. That's the type of GM I want.
Kessler is a terrible fit for Quin's defensive schemes. We are bringing in agile defenders with switchability. I anticipate Clint is gone for this reason and Okongwu stays. Dort is nice but we just drafted Rissachier so I guess it comes down to evaluations. Do we value him more than Hunter.
For those reasons, I don't see us pursuing those throwback bigs in the Capela mold unless their last name is Gobert. Like we just brought in rotation players in the Murray trade? Dort & Kessler don't move the needle for me. If you are going to swing, swing big, Lauri would be a great add.
