I asked to be moved to nights so I could attend police academy. The manufacturing plant approved the switch. 3 days before the academy started the hr director met with me. She said "sorry to do this but we can't move you to nights this year maybe you can go through the academy next year" I asked " are you sure" and she answered "yes" so I gave her my ID and keys and left without saying another word.
