Dude was just speeding and understeered because it had just rained, definitely wasn’t intentional. Wheels are already turning before the truck is in frame and brakes are applied, clearly he’s sliding. Need more evidence the roads are crap, big water splash from 2nd truck near the end of the clip.

OP could apply for a job at said hotel, become friends with the thief, get invited to their house and steal anything and everything that that can, then show up the next day to work and pretend it never happened, wait for the thief to make a post on Reddit about it, and finally leave a comment like “sometimes there is nothing more you can do”. Just one thought.
Had a (hopefully) stray bullet hit our window on I-10 once. We found a cop on the side of the road and told him, he said “yeah that’s a bullet, I wouldn’t park on the street”, no report or anything just went back to his car.
Lots of people have the same problem and they haven’t said anything about it.
