The audio on her latest reel is called Rich Brian. 😂😂
I’ve done it in the past. Look through the schedule and pick one or two each day that you want to watch and don’t worry about the rest. Dana K White usually has a really good one. Some of them get really specific or go more towards decorating or kitchen stuff. Which is fine if you’re interested in that. Otherwise you can just skip those.
I homeschooled my kids for several years and you can literally teach them to read in as little as 10 minutes a day. It doesn’t have to be a big extensive thing but you DO actually have to teach them. Some kids do have a natural inclination toward math or reading but they still need guidance. 🤦🏻♀️
The only positive spin I can put on this is if they’re on a blind date from hell, they’re having every bad experience possible, so you list those out so then you can solve those problems? But that’s a convoluted way to say list their problems/bad experiences.
I saw that one. So many different promos at once! And none (?) in the collective? Maybe one mention of it? I skimmed. But all these new things that…aren’t in there.
Plus the holy sh*t sale is back even though that was “one” time only.
I like the ones that are unique or really niche. Generic “gifts for dad” ones don’t usually help me much because like others have said, they don’t know my dad. But I’ll usually check out a few for ideas.
And having worked in the internet world, they get enough clicks and affiliate income for them to be worth an influencer’s time to put together, even if you don’t buy what they’re selling. Actually the ridiculous ones do better because if you click on something to see it, and then buy something else in the next few days, the influencer makes money anyways.
But will it be part of the collective because that’s where everything is supposed to live now, or will it be separate too? 😂
We watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles every year.
Why are all the dog stories about poop or farts though?
It’s a way to save space if you don’t have freezer room or room for lots of jars but still want to preserve stuff. And I guess in theory you can freeze dry leftovers instead of throwing them out if you have too much but you also need a certain amount in the freeze dryer so I don’t know. And it makes for easy camping food.
I definitely associate it with prepping the most but that’s not the only reason.
She’s talked about having pretty bad acne scarring before. I’m pretty sure that’s all it is. I have something similar and that’s what mine is.
I don’t know but I found it funny that she said basically people can focus on what they personally care about (they don’t have to care about everything) and immediately followed it with two stories about how she does her hair.
I was a follower back before they did the whole RV life for awhile. They actually were traveling near where I lived so I DM ed her and thanked her for being an inspiration in my decluttering journey and for the free content she put out. I told her if she was ever in my town I would buy her a cup of coffee. She responded very genuinely and offered to meet up with me halfway between us, but the timing didn’t work. At that time she just seemed like she had it together and was living her life the way she wanted to because she was free from the baggage of stuff. Now she seems the opposite of that.
I’ve done the Get Organized HQ free version a few years in a row. There are always at least a few people I’m familiar with so I watch their presentations plus a couple more as I have time. Usually there are a few nuggets of helpful things that I take away from it and just listening to people talk organizing helps inspire me to get my stuff more organized.
I’m currently a virtual assistant for a blogger/course creator. Hours are flexible (we have to check in on weekdays at some point during the 9-5 so nothing gets missed but the actual hours we do the work are up to us) and it pays well.
If you don’t want to be part of the influencer world there are lots of virtual jobs out there, but finding them can be tricky unless you know someone. I got my job because we were part of a private Facebook group for something else and she posted there first that she was looking before making it a public thing.
We had to pack up for a move in a week one time because of unexpected circumstances and it was HARD. Like I spent a day on each room and it took most of the day each time, and I had decluttered some by that point.
There’s still so much logistically to do with lots of people in the household. It’s more than just boxing up stuff, although there are certainly ways to do that better/easier.
At least she didn’t scream it this time.
I think it was actually a 4 book deal. There was supposed to be a coffee table type book with her decluttering stuff but way more image heavy. She ran through them once in a video and I don’t remember what the planner was supposed to be but it wasn’t a planner. Maybe a life rhythms/unburdened material thing?
I’m pretty sure part of the using it up to make soup has to do with not wasting the dairy free ingredients. Even if you make most of it yourself, allergy friendly food still costs more. I’ve made dairy free baked goods that look actually baked too though, but not necessarily using the same stuff she does. So it might just be the specifics of what she’s using.
She keeps talking about how her courses have all been available, but I feel like she’s constantly doing “last chance to get it” emails and stories. I actually had no idea you could get her courses on demand right now. So this big change in her business is something I didn’t even realize.
She’s running a life skills summer camp June 12-17 if you want a preview of her teaching style (for that it’s a bunch of different people not just her but I think she does a couple of the videos). And she usually gives a coupon code to participants for the Kids Cook Real Food course.
We’ve done a few of the sessions but not all of them. Easy for the kids to understand and catch onto, and we still use the terminology to teach our kids stuff. Like for measuring spoons, the tablespoon is the papa spoon, the teaspoon is the mama spoon, etc.
I appreciate her method for doing things because it works no matter how much or how little time you have.
I got the business wrap up email too. She changed the challenge name at the beginning to the correct thing but didn’t change any of the daily descriptions. But the links go to the correct videos. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
You’re not missing much with the workbook. It’s 8 pages, the first page is a picture and the last page is an ad for the courses.
Did you do the all access pass? I was thinking it was going on again but I guess that’s not until fall. If you have the whole thing, pick a category and maybe watch a video each day until you get through them? But skip the ones that don’t sound interesting or relevant.
