I stayed with a friend in WA recently and she had a small basket with a few sweet treats and chocolates, a couple magazines I could take with me and a warm blanket. The best thing though, was one of her spare Patagonia fleece pullover I could wear while staying with her. It was great because I felt extremely comfy in the cold weather. I knew what was mine because she walked me through the house, showed me where the bathroom was, and gently mentioned what was gifted. I’ve left a guest basket w some of the things others mentioned as well and just let my guests know “everything in the basket is for you”.

Calluses on the base of your foot tend to add to the pain when walking so much. I highly recommend either getting a pedicure and having them buff the calluses down every two weeks or so, or buying a pumice bar and scrubbing them when you shower once a week or so.

Keep at it! It’ll get better and your body will thank you down the line.

Tacking onto this for reference. Type of rules people overlook: - overnight guests - max amount of time a “guest” can stay I.e. 2 days or forever and not pay rent? - any specific guests off limits? - drugs/ alcohol/ smoking/ vaping - pets - agree on cleaning schedule or specific tasks you each take on - any ideas on gatherings/ parties/ whatever - either of you work from home? If so what are that person’s needs? - who buys toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc. - are y’all splitting repairs?

I usually start by making a paste w dawn and baking soda. Rub it on stain and then wash with whites the next time I do laundry so it sits a while (usually a few days/ week later). Once washed, I air dry because if you dry in machine the stain could still be there and set even more. It’s more a trial/error thing but you’ll definitely get it out so long as you air dry. Here’s the thing I recently learned when I noticed my white linens came out of the dryer w yellow stains: sometimes the stain develops on white fabrics because the garments are left in dryer on too high setting, too long. So maybe lower the temp or air dry when possible.

Other things that work: white distilled vinegar w water, toothpaste, lemon juice, peroxide

I sold items at a local consignment store in WA a few years back and they also did not communicate when items sold. I would have to go on their website and use my item number to track sale/payout. They took about 6weeks to prepare checks once your items sold. Very low-tech but items sold and I eventually got my money. While not ideal, still a legitimate business model.

I went with 35% all around the windows and sunroof because I still want some light coming through the top. Windows look darker than 30% because the vehicle comes with colored windows already. If I went darker it would have looked like limo tint and I’m not crazy about that. Windshield was 70% as several have mentioned. I’d attach pics but don’t know how :/

$1k is safe. Once you lock in it’s not refundable as the email states but it’s safe and will be deducted from total due when you take delivery of vehicle. After confirming, you can push out the delivery date as someone else mentioned and change configurations which could impact your delivery window but your $1k is gone if you pull out altogether.

But for now - if you do nothing, you’re simply next in queue to lock in a vehicle and will not have a delivery window until you lock in. You can also request to cancel and get your $1k back.

You’re the first person I know of that went w dual motor/ large battery (other than me). It was a tough decision but I couldn’t justify the extra 6k for a couple features I wouldn’t be using since I’m a city driver.

I believe they hold the vin for a certain window but release it if something is off (in your case their statement about it being a diff state). Also- their employees seem to work standard 9-5 hours and might be based out of California with weekends and holidays off. It’s not ideal but nice to know you have a dedicated person. You can also call their 800 number and speak to someone else if you want to get an answer sooner.

They will likely assign another vin to you that matches your specs once the whole thing w your address is corrected and payment method method is confirmed.

Hey @advanced_protection5 … I have a tread+ and I did a factory reset as the touchscreen wasn’t working. While doing the reset, I was prompted to do the calibration process. Now; the tread motor seems to be stuck trying to go up in incline - won’t go past 3% and then cycles through the calibration process over and over again. Any advice?
