I love that you're using a shot from Al forcing Charlie into a deal. He was so pretty in that scene.

And yet, I can't name an Angel porno we've seen without themes of it. I just don't think we know enough about Emily, and a Heaven where "everyone is hot" to assume they're all prudes.

I unironically enjoyed the manga, but was Otaku enough to filter out most of the fanservice.

They both were. The animators were just bigger fans of Botan and Shizuru, than Keiko or Atsuko.

I suspect that the non-con would turn her off more than the actual sex. Especially if, as the Seraph of Joy, she could tell when Angel really wasn't in to it.

It's even funnier with Husk's eyes cutting to him in the background.

This may be the most accurate answer. No wonder Al looks like he's lost all signal.

The Fugitive Slave Act of 1850 basically did this, by mandating that even free states return escaped slaves, and that the "escaped slaves" couldn't testify on their own behalf. Opponents, of course, pointed this out--along with the argument that people in free states were essentially being forced to participate in slavery and having their own states' rights overruled. https://constitutioncenter.org/the-constitution/historic-document-library/detail/the-fugitive-slave-act-1850

This was, of course, during the Great Compromise days prior to the Civil War. Great compromise, huh?

On the plus side, the outrage actually generated more abolitionists, and extremely abolitionist states enforced HEAVY penalties on anyone caught abusing the system. Wisconsin and Vermont, in particular, passed laws ensuring the rights of "captured slaves" until a jury trial proved that they were actual escaped slaves, and it's been argued that the whole mess had a huge impact on dividing the country to the Civil War point.

Woman who's worked physical jobs with both short and long hair, here! NOPE, it's actually easier to pull it all back. If you want to keep it from getting snagged/grabbed, put it under a bandana or braid it flat. Short hair, especially Revy's length of short hair, still likes to blow everywhere--and while it's harder to grab than a ponytail, it's still doable. Of course, either cut has her bangs in her face, so it's kinda a moot point.

Either way, yeah, realism only belongs in certain facets of Black Lagoon--and looks ain't one of them.

Friendly reminder that before the Civil War, free black men found "loitering" or walking down the road had to prove on the spot that they were free, or be sold off as runaway slaves.

After the Civil War, free black men were arrested for "loitering" and sentenced to hard labor.

Awful people being awful together.

Marie is Edd's one and only stalker, until Cupid!Sarah and Cupid!Jimmy happen with the lust arrows?

Gwuncan pissed me off because they had become such good friends before that, supportive of each other in the relationships they were ALREADY IN. The writers deliberately fumbled not only how these two got together, but the relationships they started in and the relationship they became--all for "more drama."

Took me a sec, but I assume "here" is "hiding from the angry mob."

Monopoly sucks when I play it with overly competitive drama llamas. Between Angel, Pen, and Al? Especially if it's early enough that Husk isn't helping, yet, and Vaggie's still at odds with Angel and Al?

Bad card, bad call, have a nice day.

And "Go Fish" with an Uno card? I'm guessing that they were playing Mao--it's the Calvinball of card games.

Brave of them, really. The only thing more guaranteed to burn down the whole hotel is Monopoly.
