Not sure. I just refuse to deal with a shitty bank that charges bullshit fees.

I churned a BMO checking account for the SUB, and hated everything about BMO.

Elevation varies depending on how far (or if) you descend into the actual 7 lakes basin. Many people simply walk along the High Divide ridgeline above it and go directly to Heart Lake.

BMO is a terrible bank. They charge a fee for ACH transactions.

In this essay, I will discuss the implications, strengths, and weaknesses of Shohei Ohtani’s unique approach to …

Interesting route.

Note that there are not a ton of vistas on this hike - only one high pass above tree line (Hayden), and lots of heavily forested river valley walking.

Snow should be a non-factor by July 2024 due to low snow pack this year.

Embrace the rain. Go for hike in the Hoh or Bogachiel rain forest. You'll see the rainforest in its natural state.

If you failed to pack rain gear, they sell it at the Thriftway grocery/general store in Forks.

Don’t burn down your home and make sure you’re properly insured in case an accident happens.

Incorrect. Read the EPA grant paperwork linked in the article.

The grant is $25,000 toward a new bus. But that’s not the entire cost of a new bus.

Do you really think a school bus costs less than a passenger car? In what world would that make sense?

That’s the amount of money awarded in the grant toward new busses. That’s not the actual cost of a brand new bus.

A school bus is not cheaper than a Toyota Camry.

I've had great success with my Fiskars weed puller. I can't explain the symptoms you're seeing, but from my perspective, they're an outlier.

DirectTV Stream service still has Root Sports at a reasonable tier.

They close Ape Caves during extreme rain events. Likely won’t be open Sunday.

Day 1: the airport is well south of Seattle, so is Packwood. Plenty of parks along the way to Packwood, but don’t backtrack north to Seattle.

Day 3: after St Helen’s head west toward ONP. Maybe overnight halfway in Olympia? Visit the lovely farmer’s market.

Day 4: very few lodging options in the SW corner of ONP. If your budget can handle it, stay at Quinault Lodge or rent an oceanfront cabin at Kalaloch.

Day 5: stay in Forks

Day 6: stay in Port Angeles

Weather: late September is awesome. Crisp, dry, mild temps, no bugs, small crowds. You might get a bit of rain, but unlikely to rain very much.

Make a weekend out of it. Spend the night in Port Angeles or Forks. Visit other sites in r/OlympicNationalPark

Your hiking itinerary is reasonable.

You should invest more effort into securing car camping sites. You are in peak season - FCFS options will be limited. And you can’t just camp on the side of the road in the National Park.

Note: WA state parks have several campgrounds along your route with showers and reservable sites. (eg: Millersylvania, Bogachiel, and Sequim Bay)

Note2: Bear cans REQUIRED at all of your overnight backpacking destinations.

Alternatively, they could just put them on a truck ot Idaho. But this is less effort.

Split shipments are normal, because the items are warehoused in different geographic locations throughout the country.

Not sure why the listing disappeared after purchase, but its possible that's standard procedure now.

Most ratings suffer serious grade inflation.

A 4-star guest often has past reviews including property damage, unregistered guests, or failure to follow basic rules like “no smoking”.

Anything 4-star or below is a huge red flag.

4.4 rating would cause me to warn the guest that I live nearby and rigorously enforce house rules, but I would approve the booking.

There’s already a great tool to combat over employment.
