I was going to continue my joke but nah, I'm out. Don't use wire brushes you'll destroy your teeth. And stay away from sweets and booze and drugs!

The plumber has fucking massive forearms, dresses surprisingly well and for some reason has a small sports car instead of a van (with a shaggy dog in the passenger seat)

I have little creativity so if I wasn't working for somebody I'd go mad - I can't even conceive of filling my days without some sort of work!

It drives me insane when people can't follow straightforward instructions without asking why! When I say 'duck' just assume it's for a good reason ok!!!

Dentists don't want you to know that a small wire brush will be both longer lasting and cheaper than a toothbrush and never go soft!

Ever increasing growth is completely insane and is exactly the same as having a huge party and then giving the bill to your kids!

The worst crime in America is having no sense of humour (or being poor)

r/roastme is worse. Women get five hundred comments about eyebrows or forehead size or perceived sexual promiscuity, every single damn time. Yawn

I saw this in some meme and it's true: people forget how fucking brown everything was! Neon colours everywhere? Nope, brown, and avocado bathroom suites

Kids are easier to compare against other kids and a good teacher will usually have some idea of what their pupils are doing... adults on the other hand will generally have to self-diagnise before they even see a professional and in all likelihood will have been labelled as depressive or substance abusers by that point perhaps

You mean it's not really the superpower that TikTok makes out?!!

This might make sense if you were talking about starving people stealing food but I feel like videogames and films are more of a luxury item... some people need to pay otherwise nobody gets these things

Perhaps delusional? Ie you think you feel uncomfortable due to imposter syndrome but actually you're just bad at your job - your perception is different from reality

Wait, do I downvote this post because it is clearly common sense? Or does it only seem sensible now because of the well-articulated argument?

Big question is how many pubs will you visit?!

Show initiative, self-starter, hit the ground running, make the job your own... all of these things imply you'll be thrown in at the deep end with no training
