I wear size XXL gloves. I just found a rail cover in a spare parts box and capped the front of my Ultimak. Now my soy boi fingies will be truly safe.

And I just voided the warranty my MBT and replaced the disconnector spring with a JP reduced power spring that i shortened to get a lighter second stage more akin to my Geissele. Different strokes.

If the air isn't moving, your windage won't change with distance. Your elevation hold will. If you zero at 100 yards, you'll need to hold a little higher at 200 to make contact. Even higher at 300. The general rule of thumb is that a .223/5.56 projectile will climb for about 100 yards before starting to fall again. This is why you'll see zeros listed as 50/200 or 36/300. The first number is the distance at which the arc of the bullet path first crosses the zero line while rising and the second number is the distance where the bullet will cross the zero line while falling. These are not exact, but work for "combat" accuracy. For more precise predictions, you'll need to gather the info in my first comment and plug it all into a ballistic calculator. Not every .223/5.56 ammo/barrel combo will rise to 100 yards then start to fall, but its a general assumption that will get you "close" depending on how close you need close to be.

Oh cmon. I worked hard to get the funny number. Would it have been better to go with 15+1 in the G19, a OEM 15 with a +5 in the side car, and a 33 in a pocket for a total of 69 rounds?

Theres a certain irony to someone with "Baldwin" in their username fingering the trigger of a revolver and getting butthurt about being called out about it.

Thank you, I was so confused. Like, is this a recorded reenactment for a news story? What kind of asshole just sits there and films while a 10 year old struggles to rescue his seizing mother from drowning?

A fresh generation discovering Peanuts for the first time. A bunch of folks genuinely don't know or understand the characters.

My MBT2S is in my limited division build. Also uses the JP lightened springs. I may try to swap the disconnector spring too, but its tough to do with that trigger and the JP may not even fit. The second stage is just so heavy.

I generally use a boot sock full of a 50/50 mix of crafting beads and air soft bbs zip tied closed at the end. I've gotten a few other bags, but that boot sock fits under my stock so well I don't think ill ever replace it.

I didn't used to be a trigger snob, then I decided to build an AR for use in precision matches and put a SD-E with JP light springs in that lower. Now, I can't stand single stage triggers. I put a LaRue in my other rifle just because I couldn't stand the feel of a (very good) milspec anymore. I also started hand loading everything. I am the brass goblin. I am the trigger snob. I am become the very thing I swore to destroy.

I can't hold my phone in my teeth when I need to use my hands. I can't fit my phone down inside my car's engine compartment. I can't present my phone's flashlight in less than 1 second from pocket to illumination. I can't use my phones flashlight while on the phone with someone else. I can't use my phone when my phone is dead from scrolling reddit all day. I don't want to use my phone when there's a chance ill drop whats in my hands a break my $300 phone, I'd much rather use my $20 flashlight. I can't set my phone on the floor and have it illuminate under the couch when I need to fish out my kid's toys.

TLDR - a flashlight is superior in every conceivable way to the bullshit on your phone.

If you like it, I love it.

someone without a CCW

...or cops. Your average CCW license holder is less likely to commit any kind of illegal activity than law enforcement.

First, that's a SA/DA so it doesn't need the hammer to be cocked.

Second, complacency with one type of firearm breads complacency with all types. Even if it was a single action only, letting it slide will form bad handling habits for other guns.

Gonna be worth a lot less if you can't keep your booger hook off the bang switch

I put a MOE handguard on my gun cuz the sides are taller than a standard AK handguard and help me keep my tender fingies away from the Ultimak. I might throw a few rail covers on too to see if that helps also.
