I’m also an audiophile and I picked up the 2022 pro 11 and noticed the audio quality. I’m really thinking about finding an M1 Pro somewhere, but I have no idea where I would find one that isn’t used or refurbished from an unreputable seller.
First time setting up Media Wiki, so apologies if this is an easy question.
Went through the setup configuration and chose MinervaNeue for my default skin. I read online that if you installed MW via tarball, it should already have some skins packaged, including MinervaNeue I believe. Was able to launch my wiki, but it's unable to find the MinervaNeue skin, and therefore can't set it as default. I checked LocalSettings.php and everything appears to look okay, below are the lines:
$wgDefaultSkin = "minervaneue"; wfLoadSkin( 'MinervaNeue' );
Still it does not seem to recognize it. I checked in the Skins directory and there's a MinervaNeue folder with files in it, but not sure if there's a specific file I should look for to confirm if it's there.
Just in case, I manually downloaded the tar.gz,extracted it, and uploaded the folder to the MinervaNeue folder, but still no go.
I've also confirmed that when changing the default skin to something like Vector, it works flawlessly.
Any help would be appreciated!
Not if everyone uses the ramp. Or like someone suggested, just put up the ramp when it’s their turn. Giving access is definitely not singling out haha. Sure people may see that a ramp is being put up, but to me that makes more of a positive statement.
Went down the same rabbit hole as well. Going to return my M2 11 Pro because of the speakers.
Came to this thread because i came to the same conclusion. However the M2 11 is also really muddy and I'm most likely going to return it.
Came to this thread because I heard the M4 pro speakers didn't sound that great, so I figured I would save some money by buying the M2 11 Pro. Nope, they do not sound good at all, very muddy and muffled sound. Quad speakers asside, the M2 11 Air speakers are much more clear and crisp.
Any update? I originally bought the M2 11 Air and thought the speakers sounded great, but then I imagined what a quad setup would sound like, so I picked up the M2 11 Pro and it's literally a downgrade. I was even considering shelling out the cash for an M4 11 Pro, but it sounds like this issue still hasn't been fixed...
I bought the M2 11 model and I hear the exact same thing, which is how I stumbled across this post. I paid good money for this and there's no reason the speaker quality of the M2 Air should sound better. Of course the four speakers on the pro sound great, but I'm specifically referring to overall clarity. Of course reviewers on YT don't cover the audio quality because I highly doubt most of them are audiophiles.
If you’re using an iPhone, put it on the tripod and go as if you’re about to take a video. Voiceover will announce if you’re centered, high or low in the frame, etc. just have to record after that :). People aren’t going to get on you if your angles aren’t perfect if they know you’re blind.

It capturing the navigator object is a big one, but you also have to pay for access, make sure the add on is compatible, etc. also people with low vision who may not use screen readers may find it useful. Having options is a good thing.
If you press windows, shift, s it will allow you to choose a different type of screenshot.

Nah, you can just have it describe the screen you're looking at, or take a screenshot and have it read your clipboard. I haven't specifically used it on a PDF yet, but I don't see why this wouldn't work.
I suspect this will be used heavily for gaming. At least I will!

Have you used the program yet? It has way more functionality than the NVDA addon. Don't know about JAWS.
