I was just thinking that my gas mileage didn’t change at all on my latest trip. Although, 13.3 still sucks 😆 Great comment.

Took 3 people to get it on the racks, but usability is top notch. Interior is about 7’ long and 5’ wide. So much room! Pop open and slam shut solo in under 5 minutes. A bit of tuck involved, but very minimal.

I’ll get you some this weekend. It was a reconnaissance trip and I’m terrible at taking pictures 🤣

Low tech solutions in a high tech world. Love the simplicity!

I do like the flexibility of having the open bed space, but the toppers are nice too. Sometimes we just need to work with what we have. Positives to each. 😄

I can’t speak to all the advantages as I’ve always had my RTTs on the back. Upon quick consideration, I’d think of two possible advantages that may or may not factor to some. With this setup the ladder doesn’t block a vehicle door and also the tent provides some protection for gear in the back, whether that’s from sun or rain. I’ll definitely send a photo after I get it installed.
