Score with a scraper…. You can either just use soapy warm water wetting it then leave and repeat the process then scrap. It will save you money ££££££ Or buy sugar soap comes in a powder mix with warm water and do the same.
Buy a 90 degree bend from a diy shop and fit it yourself. Cut the drain pipe back a bit if needed and push the bend on

Set your tiles out. Clean area when sticking the tiles down. If you’re tiling on the wall. I make out the tiles by pencil the second row up fix a straight edge to the wall, then start to tile off it. Once it’s set remove straight edge and fill the bottom row
Cut down the wall with a cutting disc the take it apart with a hammer and chisel, or cango drill.

Cap the pipes under the floor or if you know where they are further along cap them there
I’d get some floor cleaner, clean it all first. Then buy some floor tile grout and just fill it all in. Then get a damp sponge and wipe the floor again
