I’m having a lot of fun even without real structure, but the character movement can be a little jank at times. In show rooms, I sometimes wish you can toggle to a top-down perspective like in Animal Crossing. It can be hard to move around when I’m stealing people’s clothes. Also when I’m trying to change my character’s pose, the camera will do whatever it does. Luckily the game gives a lot of freedom to change the camera, but it does give me whiplash every time.

Yeah that one! She talked about Kitchen Princess too (different vid ofc).

I’m hoping I can chase down a guy to wear my (attempted) Ness outfit. Maybe I’ll look for Fred the next time I walk around (wishlist be damned). I’m hoping to make Jeff and Poo as well, but I doubt I’ll be able to find the right clothes for either of them.

It’s only manga, but both ML’s from Tsubasa to Hotaru (I forget their names). The main guy was boring and I barely felt any chemistry between him and the FL. The second guy had potential and connected with the FL, but then the author had him the FL at the end to make her end up with the main guy. Him doing that came so out of left field that it gave my whiplash whiplash.

Lmao I watched a video about it yesterday! The art is the most 2000’s thing I’ve ever seen.

Considering all the other heels (like the Balenciaga Croc heels) that have shown up here, this is pretty tame.

I was surprised that despite her weak disposition (from being chronically ill), she’s also a crazy mf and can keep Shinpei in check. These aren’t rare FL’s (aside from the chronically ill part), but they’re fun.

I didn’t think I’d be so invested in this series, but I am! I feel myself rooting for Shinpei despite the fact that he’s a crazy mf who kills people for a living.

People have been girlbossing Snow White forever. Rachel Zegler is not the first. She’s probably one of the more high profile ones (because she’s doing it for fuckin Disney), but she’s not the first. I’m sure she’ll do the role fine, and I personally think the hate is overblown. Rachel Zegler isn’t the one running Disney and making creative decisions (except portraying Snow White). People are acting like she’s committing war crimes and would rather give a right-wing news network attention.

Also live action remakes are tired, and CGI animals that have personalities and talk and magical beings (like the furniture people) look so damn bad as CGI… things. Cogsworth and Lumiere are nightmare fuel. Call it nostalgia, but Disney doing animated musical theater is peak Disney.

Actually someone making a Disney Renaissance-style stage show out of Snow White and Cinderella would be neat. Idk how the og VA (who’s still alive btw) for Aurora would feel though. She hated Enchanted Tales.

Idk much about mimes (this is the mine guy right), but I’m pretty sure mimes aren’t the color of cooked lobsters. Maybe he’s trying to cosplay Mr. Mime and is failing miserably.

The black scleras and bright green eyes certainly don’t help.

How do you get photos from your Switch onto your computer or phone?

Or even male musicians with a huge female fanbases like Justin Bieber or 1D get a lot of hate with people questioning their masculinity, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity, especially teenage JB.

Been rewatching and rereading Kimi ni Todoke to get hyped for season 3.

I’d recommend A Condition Called Love and Kare Kano (just ignore the questionable side relationships)

New to the gameHelp

I ordered the game, and it should be coming in soon. What should I know before I get started? I’m not expecting it to be like the Style Savvy DS/3DS games, and I’m fine with that. I’m in it for the cute clothes (shame about the lack of purses though) and zero worries about inventory management and money.

Omg Firefly Wedding! Ngl it low key feels like a Cinderella or Snow White retelling (could be dead wrong though), but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I’m liking Satoko as a protagonist. She has spirit and a backbone despite being dealt a shitty deck in life.

Also I’m not a huge fan of the yandere trope, and Shinpei literally kills people for a living, and there are panels of him looking like he came from a horror manga, but he’s weirdly likable? Idk I can’t help but keep reading and rooting for them.

Reminds me of Turning Red where people didn’t like it because it starred a pre-teen Chinese girl, and the grown men watching couldn’t relate.

Because she wasn’t made by Jordybuzz

Actually I don’t think even Jordybuzz’s Snow White would murder (or at least carry it out herself). She just wants to get attention and money, insult Cinderella, and disrespect her stepmother (who was nice-ish until she found out Snow White called her fat).

Someone made a comment (I forget who) about how a French (or Canadian) manga story put La Magnifique Grande Scene in the shoujo section (even though it’s seinen) and Banana Fish in the seinen section because they fit the “vibe checks.”

Also saw a list of “best shoujo anime” and half of the series listed were shounen or seinen like Kaguya-Sama: Love is War and My Dress-Up Darling. It is lazy research. You can easily find the demographics and magazines on Wikipedia.

I think I read somewhere that CN (or whoever makes cartoon-based toys) was confused on how to market PowerPuff Girls because it was a show about a bunch of little girls beating the shit out of things (or something like that idk I haven’t watched it). They thought girls wouldn’t like action, but boys wouldn’t like toys portraying girls.

Also I thought about the Cardcaptor Sakura dub where they renamed it Cardcaptor and tried to make Xiaolang the main character because boy and making it a boy show, so they ended up butchering the hell out of it, all to make a boy, who doesn’t even appear until like halfway through the story, the main character.
