I just returned from Istanbul and food was fairly cheap from an American perspective. There are definitely some touristy places that charge quite a bit for beer, but I found it to be overall affordable.

What's really getting under my skin is how disingenuous many young progressive Jews are in foreign countries. In America, they are starting to parrot bibis this feels like the 1930s comment. Only want to discuss campus protests and tell me I missed the point when I ask about admin detention, settlers, dehumanization campaigns, land grabs, executions, yeshuda, etc. One even asked me ti post on social media because it wasn't good enough to offer him support. What a clown.
