Me too. It’s frustrating!
I only brush the top few inches in the morning to smooth it, otherwise I haven’t had a brush in my hair for 20 years. I just use my fingers when I wash it. My daughter has my hair and having to tell her everyone that they cannot brush her hair has been weird. Some have acted like I’m straight up crazy, like saying to not brush her teeth!
