My advise for combat is do it sparsely. Players should work to avoid combat because non combat oriented classes aren't survive for long. Also long lasting injuries can cripple a player. Had a few players that thought paying a wizard to heal them from their injuries but these are rare and aren't automatically available.
Another advice is having a goal in combat besides killing everyone because it is tedious. A player knocked out can spend Resolve to gain a hit point and stand up. This isn't much but can mean live and death.
5 players is really much of combatants. If a player doesn't know what to do skip his turn and let him make his turn at of the round. He should think about what he can do when the other players are deciding their move. It is not your job as a Gm to track conditions,talents and other things for your players. They should keep a close eye on them.
After 3 - 5 rounds of combat decide if one side has an overwhelming advantage and the loosing side is fleeing. Normal enemies that aren't keen to die like orcs or doesn't have a free will like undead would flee.
Absolutely possible if you keep the tone of Warhammer. The rules are portable but not as untied from the world like DnD or Star Wars Rpg.
A bigger problem is the magic system for wizards, witches and others and the miracle system for priest, nuns and others. These are stronger tied to the Warhammer world than the basic rules. Another thing to think of are the classes. These are tied to the strict and perilous world based in the late medieval and renaissance system of our world. The magic of 8 winds and the different miracles granted by the gods have profoundly reach insight the world of Warhammer.
Another part for the grim part is the corruption system where body and mind are slowly transformed and changed by the dark forces. If you keep this otherworldly threat that cannot be destroyed and only forced back it could work.

Combat test are often modified opposed Tests because of the circumstances like attacking, weather and conditions. These are the test that most often are modified.
Difficulties can also be added in opposed test for example in social when a beggar wants to get information form a noble with charm/cool or in combat when the enemy outnumbers the defender.
Depending on the advantage system you use because with Up in Arms came a new system.
In the original system every single advantage point gave you a bonus of +10 on the test. So with a base skill value of 40 and 2 advantage you have to roll under 60 because 40+2x10=60. Like circumstantial modifiers like attacking harsh weather that gives you -20 or Outnumbering someone +20 these are counted before counting the SL. This is important because it also effects critical hits.
With the modified value of 60 from above you can make a critical roll at 55 but without the 2 advantage you would have rolled a critical failure.
My advise is Karriere.at where most jobs can be found today. LinkedIn can work sometimes but isnt as important like in other countries. AMS can work for part time jobs.
It would be really helpful for you to learn the German language because companies see that you are probably staying in the country and makes communication easier. Even though most of them in the tech field work in English today.
Jobs as a intern or working student are rare because there isn't a big tax advantage like in Germany and the working culture is different. Also many sectors are under economic stress because of high inflation, high costs of energy and bureaucracy and missing orders. Austria is also a supplier country where not many well known firms stay but in some fields are international leaders present.
My advise as a fellow student from the TU Wien for the summer is do not stop working and learning for the university. Practically there aren't any lectures but you will not make every exam or project in time and the last exams are often end of July and the first in the beginning of September. So you can use the time to do the bigger exams.

Erinnert mich an unser Chemiegebäude. Da hat man vergessen dass wenn man die Labore im Turm haben will entsprechende Ablüftungen und Verstärkungen zu verbauen. Als der Turm am fertig werden war und die Leute einziehen wollten war nichts davon geplant oder verbaut worden. Nun sind die obersten Geschosse schöne Büros die niemand nutzt.
Als Polizistin musste sie wahrscheinlich auch nie für ihr Studium bezahlen und hat ein ordentliches Gehalt nebenbei bezogen. Das ganze nebenbei als stellvertretende Kommandantin und als sie fertig war in die Regierung von Nehammer 2020 abgebogen. Also keine Vollzeitarbeit nach dem Studium.
Das Problem ist dass für Leute aus dem Ausland 1000 € ziemlich wenig ist wenn man es nicht absolut benötigt. Nur saisonal angestellt sein und überbordende Bürokratie machen es für viele uninteressant hierzulande zu arbeiten. Da gehen viele lieber in die arabischen Länder als Gastarbeiter oder auf Schiffe um gutes Geld in die Heimat zu bringen.
Die Kosten des Ausflugs der Delegierten hat sicher mehr gekostet als es dem Steuerzahler einbringt die Hilfskräfte aus Indonesien anzuheuern. Das sind verzweifelte Aktionen von Leuten die nicht wissen mit der Realität umzugehen. Ein Unternehmen kann pleite gehen aber ein Staat leider nicht wirklich.
Davon steht leider nichts im Artikel und ich glaube die Mair glaubt dass die Leute zum Spaß Teilzeit arbeiten und nicht weil es nicht mehr gibt oder nicht mehr bringt.
Die werte Landesrätin hat ja selber durch den Staat als Polizistin das Studium finanziert bekommen wahrscheinlich. Wenn die Wirtschaft das auch macht würden viele das Angebot sicher annehmen 5 Jahre im Unternehmen zu bleiben und dafür 3-5 Ausbildung zu erhalten.
Wird das Studium dann in Zukunft auch durch eine übberlebensfähige Studienbehilfe unterstützt.
Der Fachkräftemangel kommt ja nicht daher dass die Leute nicht wollen sondern nicht können. Man kann nicht mit einer Gastro Ausbildung in technischen Berufen arbeiten und die Ausbildung dauert entsprechend lange.
In den Tourismus Sektoren ist nach mehreren Jahrzehnten Ausbeutung endlich auch der letzte drauf gekommen dass dort die Arbeitsbedingungen und Bezahlung mies sind. Vor allem Immigranten haben das erkannt und sehen keinen Sinn darin in für Saisonarbeit wohin zu gehen und es ist nicht sicher dass man bezahlt wird. Kenne viele die entweder noch dort noch sind weil sie nichts mehr anderes arbeiten können oder erkannt haben dass Trinkgelder die verlorenen Lebenszeit nicht wett machen.
Das Problem ist auch dass die Tourismus Branche ein Problem mit dem Selbstbild hat. Es sollen Österreicher für hiesige Unternehmen arbeiten weil es sich so gehört. Aber entsprechend bezahlen und ausbilden will man nicht.

Piercings are a nice accessoire for a lifetime and show you're committed. Symbols of death like ankhs, crosses and skulls are a nice fit.
Black jackets and coats help. If you are bigger in height a long coat looks awesome. I still wear my leather jacket but feel more home in a short coat because of my height.
For tops t-shirts are fine but there is a wide variety of buttoned shirts that help to stand out and can be worn very casually or business like.
Pants are easier and more problematic at the same time. Black pants are used by a wide range of subcultures and men don't have much variety there. A nice print or cut let's you standout but are very pricy and most of them not wearable casually. Stick with black jeans or chinos for your everyday look depending how you want to present yourself but get a nice pair for events. Or a black gothic themed kilt if you're brave and bald I mean bold.
I support the idea of different footwear to distinguish yourself for the metal or right wing scene. I've never seen the typical skinhead in my country over the last few years but the picture is in the people's heads and will stay there for a long time.
Patches are fine but will only be recognized by the scene and not outsiders. It is often overlooked how much symbolism is still present in our days and subcultures can send messages without being recognized by outsiders.

Da können sich andere Firmen etwas abschauen. Auf den Jobmessen der TU Wien finden sich die Firmen leider auch nicht die Plätze für Werksstudenten anbieten. Da werden Inserate zur Verfügung gestellt die Leute mit Berufserfahrung suchen.
Wie bereits erwähnt gibt es in Österreich für Unternehmen wenig Vorteile Werksstudenten anzustellen. Hinzu kommt dass Praktikanten von FHs oft günstiger sind.
Anderseits sehen viele Unternehmen hierzulande wenig darin Studenten Berufserfahrung zu geben. Im amerikanischen Bereich ist das beliebt um Talente zu finden und zu fördern. Hier gilt es als eine Belastung Studenten anzustellen. Die Unternehmenskultur ist eine ganz andere.
Viele Unternehmen finden sich derzeit in einer schwierigen Situation wieder. Als Zuliefererland warten diese nun auf Aufträge und bauen als erste die Mitarbeiter ab die einfacher zu kündigen sind. Mit 1 Monat Kündigungsfrist sind Praktikanten und Werksstudenten als erste dran. Danach wird eben keiner mehr eingestellt.
Muss sagen dass zu viele Nonaned Fragen dabei sind für die man gerne stimmt wie Kennzeichnungspflichten bei Lebensmitteln und Klimaschutz aber man trotzdem nicht erwartet dass das nur die Grünen tragen werden.
Gefühlt 1/3 der Fragen drehen sich darum und auch wenn ich ein großer Verfechter um Klimaschutz und Kennzeichnungen bin würde ich sie trotzdem nicht wählen weil sie ansonsten gefühlt sehr verblendet und naiv an die Sachen angehen.

Der Lohn wird da oft als zu gering angesehen. Andererseits sehen sie die Aufdecker als Verräter und betrachten das als größere Schande.
Beide Wählergruppen sehen SPÖ und andere als diejenigen die Österreich herunter wirtschaften und blockieren. Der Verlust der Kernfamilie, der schon seit 30 Jahren weg ist. Der starke Zuzug von Asylanten und Wirtschaftsflüchtlingen, ausgelöst durch externe Effekte und angezogen durch viele soziale Erfolge. Der Abschwung von Autoindustrie und Änderung der Verkehrspolitik, durch verlorene Industrie und Mangel and Investition und Innovation sowie Änderung der Gesellschaft.
Auch wenn ein Job angeboten wird und es gesagt wird dass man nichts verkaufen soll kann es im Ende eine Keilermethode sein dich in ein Gespräch zu verwickeln und danach dir unnötige Finanzpakete zu verkaufen.
Auch dass sie wissen welchen Job du suchst aber sagen sie sind nicht auf LinkedIn ist sehr suspekt.
Sie sagen immer dass sie die Wünsche der Leute akzeptieren aber heimlich und stetig verwickeln sie einen doch in das Miltilevelmarketing Schema. Habe noch niemanden kennen gelernt der dort nicht eingefahren ist, wenn man nicht vom Leid anderer profitiert hat.
Sounds okay and good in conjunction to Lightsaber rules. I even would give it Slow Firing 2 because it is really strong with weapons range Long.
I would give it the following effect: Gain a Despair symbol for every round not properly cooled down. With 2 Despair the lightsaber is destroyed and the crystal burnt out.
Is the Wookie another player? Because he has to carry the weapon and place it while your Ewok character waits to do anything.
Otherwise it depends on your GM if he allows you to play practically two characters.
I think players often overlook such problem solving when there aren't any mechanics involved. Even if you allow such things there should be a good trade off in sacrificing his action and doing something helpful instead bashing forward and hitting the enemy with all you have.
A system that has a good motivation is the Star Wars Rpg and his successor the Genesys system.
Phexgeweihte können genauso offen agieren wie andere Geweihte und agieren nicht immer im verborgenen. Da Phex auch für Händler steht kann es oft passieren dass ein Phexgeweihter über den Markt offen geht und seinen Segen über einen guten Handel spricht oder als Mediator fungiert.
Diebstahl ist auch für Phexgeweihte verboten und wird entsprechend bestraft aber der Phexgeweihte werden oft gehen gelassen, da die anderen Kulte für ihren/ihre Bruder/Schwester der Zwölfe bürgen. Der Diebstahl ist auch nicht das Ziel eines Phexgeweihten sondern das Glück auf die Probe stellen, einer Herausforderung nachgehen und seine Schläue beweisen.
Mit guter Rhetorik durchaus möglich sich raus zu reden und auch im Sinne von Phex ein Geheimnis zu bewahren aber irgendwann sollte das auch vor den anderen Spielern und deren Charaktere fallen.
Meine Empfehlung ist nicht zu sehr auf die Geheimhaltung zu setzen und auch nicht nur Diebstahl zu begehen. Spreche aus Erfahrung dass das für andere Spieler auf Dauer sehr anstrengend wird wenn man unbedingt den stereotypen diebischen Phexgeweihten spielt der nie erwischt werden darf und ständig Ärger provoziert.
Criticals can only be deflected by critical hits not going under 0 wounds and receiving a critical hit. A normal critical because of gaming damage at 0 wounds is still received.
If you have the book up in arms go over the critical table there. With this rules you get a +10 for every over damage someone gets when receiving a hit with 0 wounds.
You can also die when rolling the Death critical. You don't need to be down for that.
I had 2 deaths in my campaign and a few near deaths where the player had to burn Fate to survive. One was a zombie horde where a player couldn't reach a coach to flee and the horses where going through. Another one was a fight against a Great Unclean one where the player was shapeshifted into a giant bear because he was a Ghur Shaman and was ripped open by an unclean strike with the demon sword and having 6 criticials.
But yeah dying because of rolls doesn't happen as often like in earlier editions but slowly burning Fate and loosing hope happens.
