For cheating at Baccarat against the house? What does that have to do with the poker community? I wouldn't call what he did cheating, I believe it's considered advantage play. "Cheating" usually implies violating established rules, while "advantage play" suggests exploiting loopholes/using skills to gain an edge within the rules. He is a professional gambler, that's the business he's in.
He added jokers to his bluffing range
You're probably right.
I didn't put much thought into it until you commented, the idea just made me laugh. The rules would have to state that Jokers can be blocked with natural made hands. It may make playing with Jokers in the deck more interesting, idk.
Jokers vs AA on AAK32, where JJ would lose to the natural 4 of a kind.
Imagine getting your Jokers cracked
That's crazy. I have a few guys like you at my home game. The key is to balance your range and always limp/call to trap. It helps me get the money in with maniacs, while I flop all sorts of weird flushes and straights. I usually fold pocket pairs pre, as they can be out-paired/cracked. I'm only trying to get it in with hands that can stack off. Malmuth has a whole chapter in his last book about it.
On Pokerstars you can start a home-game group and invite your friends to join. I haven't used their software in years, but I recall it was fantastic for play money.
Having "all-in" not mean putting all of your chips in the pot could lead to problematic situations in the future, imo.
Ambiguous language in gambling is just asking for problems, and in this situation (potentially unintended) soft play/collusion. Especially if the choice is not afforded to everyone, or if the protocol for when it's allowed is unclear.
If the goal is to reduce variance and keep the players going at a friendly home game, I would just run the board 4 times.
If I am hosting a game for people who are not my friends, no chance. All-in means putting all your chips at stake.
Besides that, capped NL has no heart. What's the fun in that?
By playing a theoretically perfect GTO strategy, you're trying to ensure that you're not losing money in the long run to any player. Your strategy is balanced such that you are unexploitable. While you are not explicitly exploiting your opponents' mistakes (which would be the domain of exploitative strategies), the nature of GTO ensures that you still gain from their suboptimal plays. Since your opponents are not playing optimally, their errors (over time) should contribute to a net positive outcome for you. The core of game theory assures that if you play a Nash equilibrium strategy (GTO), and others do not, then in expectation, you will not be at a disadvantage. Instead, you will benefit from their deviations from optimal play.
I would recommend using PayPal. Enjoy! 😁
Once every 24 hours, the bonus will be available, and you must log in to collect it. No real risk involved that I can tell, they function in a grey market in the USA but are still very reputable.
By law, certain websites involving crypto may ask for personal information for anti-money laundering checks and, due to its nature as a casino, to verify your age. Stake does this occasionally and may ask you to verify your identity, this can be viewed by some as a potential risk. This isn't a concern to me with Stake, and I feel that it likely makes the experience safer.
Second consideration, as long as you don't provide your personal banking details, there should be no possibility for financial risk on your end.
All you do is sign up, then collect the daily $1 they give out. No strings attached. Be mindful, this is a casino, and the best bet you have of winning is collecting your risk-free funds and withdrawing.

From what I understand, they are clearing the brush from around the base to prevent the fires in the North from spreading closer than comfortable. Although using accelerants to burn brush is common in firefighting, using a trebuchet is not... This was probably done in haste.
Israel will finally have affordable housing
