Surprised Davo Sr. didn't jump on the ice to accept it for his son. He was fucking jacked. Took the sting of a game 7 Stanley Cup loss right out for that guy. I guess he did have 10 min or so to feel bad for his son so understandable.
Do all sharks fans do this? Flag is upside down, what a bedard.
It is really hard to get used to seeing Calgary at the bottom of that list.
This is the roster going to Pentincton?
ROAD TRIP!
If Oliver wants to play in the NHL I think he better pick up the phone soon and give uncle Craig a call. Ask if it's OK if he stays with him in Calgary for a year. Have a great, healthy season, then look at term if that's what he wants. I can't see teams who aren't as close to the situation as Calgary are all that willing to give term. Especially if there's only a handful of potential suitors to begin with.
Without looking to deep into it, who would be shopping for a Kylington right now? San Jose? Utah? Columbus? I don't think there's many.
Looks to me like Duclair and Calgary were on two different pages in regards to term. Conroy was definitely going short term deals only. Conroy appears to be prioritizing flexibility.
Naw, this is the NHL. He will have to take a year or two vacation and his previous employer will be awarded the first overall pick to draft the next generation talent.
For those unaware, are you able to explain what the screw job was?
Not sure if it's been noted, but, Dennis Gilbert going home to Buffalo.
I don't believe so. Really hope he didn't overplay his hand. I think with the Bean signing, Calgary has already moved on.
Phone auto correct apparently in disbelief how great Yegor is at lego and thinks he's a graphic designer instead. Would edit if I could/knew how.
Oh man, would have loved to see Monahan back in Flames threads but he's headed to hang with Johnny. Congrats on the contract Monny, probably didn't fit in Conroy's roster plans.
I was a big fan of him in his draft year. I knew there was no way Calgary would be able to draft him, certainly thought he would be a more impact player than he's been so far. At 26, I'm fine with it. Sure looks like a Kylington replacement. Sadly.
How many times does rental rates come up in the discussion?
Tkachuk - Stanley Cup
Oilers - rent free living
this is a toss up, fellas, but edging to Tkachuk I think.
Edmonton just resigned Pichard. I can't see them willing to take a goalie back even though they'd love to dunno campbell
Why you spend so much time in the Flames sub? You paying rent there?
If I had a dollar for every time I heard an Oiler fan claim they live rent free in the heads of Flames fans, I'd earn as much as Huberdeau.
And it's their, their heads. Fuck.
If there's one thing Tre loves doing it's bringing in new toys and then locking them for as long as possible with little regard for the price tag.
I'm excited to see where this shifts Calgary in terms of best prospect pools within the league. Generally I see Calgary ranked in the 12th to 16th range. I wonder if this bumps them up into the top ten range. Really please with the draft, and looking forward to following these young players develop.
Also had a laugh that Button is telling the staff for the Penticton camp that the power play better be absolutely on fire, no excuses. Referring to Perekh, Hunter, and Mews.
Is this the home barn!? No seating behind the goal?
