Thank you! I'll check out Storytel. I think most everything is better than Audible, unfortunately.

Thank you! I'll check out Libro.fm. ๐Ÿ‘‹

Thank you! I use Libby myself with a non-resident account to a larger library than my local. They told me it's not available in Portugal but, I wonder, if she's just using my card and can access Libby there... Worth a shot!

Service available in PortugalQuestion

Hello, I would like to gift a family member a subscription to an audiobook service that works in Portugal. All I'm finding in my search is Books in Portuguese. I'm looking for a service that loans audio books in English for English speaking persons that live in Portugal. The local library doesn't seem to have much of a selection of English audiobooks. I don't believe Everand can do it. Not a fan of Audible but if it works a s it's all I can find I'll consider it. Does anyone know of a service to listen to audiobooks in English that can be used in Europe, specifically Portugal? TIA!

Looks like Dutch hex signs like they put on barns or quilts. That one looks like a love symbol, a rosette.

Let me ask, would you wish someone else, like maybe the man that laughed, would have stood up for you and told the FA that wasn't funny (instead of laughing)? If so, then you should absolutely stand up for yourself and file a complaint.

Perfect tree. Is the tree blue? Or do you get that color from the lights? Your tree makes me feel happy.

Dollar Tree. They are solar and look like mercury glass. They come in two sizes, blue, green, and gold. I love them too. Thank you.

Thank you. That's my OCD (Obsessive Christmas Decorating) manifested, I think.

Beautiful name. I bought a light projector that casts an aurora above the tree with matching colors. It was pretty inexpensive. Around $20 from Amazon. It has an app where you can change the colors and speed and even changes to music. I'll see if I can post a pic with the light so you can see it. Might be nice for her room and she can change it according to her favorite color.
