For me it’s about continuing the pursuit of always improving. I like to build custom cabinets and furniture for family members that is meant to be used and handed down for generations. The epitome for me is long after I’ve past and my creations are still adored.

To me that’s a failure of the temp control door not sensing excessive draw when trying to close and broke itself.

It’s time consuming, but you can fill all of these holes and “character “ with clear epoxy.

After they fix the crack, they go to the top floor where the radiator cap is (to keep air out of the system) and refill it. Just kidding, I have no clue what I’m talking about.

This would be fine if there was one day, or even a certain time that everyone set off their fireworks. In lots of places, legal or not, people set them off for days leading up to the 4th and some after. It’s just anger inducing for those of us who have people and pets that are sensitive to the explosions.

As I have aged, I have met a lot of really wonderful, kind, funny and sweet people who may have a physical trait that they have absolutely no control over. Some time ago, something clicked in me and I became angry at myself for judging people on these things. Do yourself and others a favor and look at the things they HAVE control over and not the things they don’t before coming to a conclusion about them.

My work shirts are of the dry-fit type and I work outside and sweat a bit. That smell was something that I noticed early on with my shirts, even after properly washing. My spouse found that adding vinegar to the wash cycle got rid of the smell. Just leaving this here for anyone else who may be struggling with it.

No, wait for it to cure completely. 2 big reason, first, as others have said, it’s not properly cured and finish can still be soft in some spots. 2nd, IF you happen to get paint on the newly poly’d stairs, it’s much less risky to clean up the paint and not damage the sheen when it’s cured, even if it’s water based paint.

One thing to keep in mind that I overlooked early on in doing woodworking, if you are doing a penetrating type of oil, sanding too high in grit can close off the pores of the wood and prevent the absorption of the oil. Thats why you see recommended final grits for finishes, either to allow for proper penetration or adhesion of top finishes.

Why would you think it’s ok to drive around without a license or insurance in the first place?

Have you tried tightening the zip bolts a little more?

Where do you think the state gets this money? $400/month is a pipe dream. I’m for more affordable housing for sure, but most of the affordable housing I know in my locale, are privately owned and subsidized by government. So it would still have to make financial sense for someone to buy or build a community that could be profitable (because why would anyone willingly throw millions of dollars at a project with not a chance of breaking even).

Be the change you want to see. Build the houses yourself and rent them for $400/month.

“Now that the table is glued together, let’s head over to the CNC room to flatten it”

You either bring the project to the tool, or the tool project. Very similar to the difference between a router and a router table imo

Possibly, it could come down to choosing the team behind a candidate and not the candidate themselves….even if one candidate is being Weekend At Bernie’s but doing a solid job.

Are these solid walnut boards? Almost looks like you started sanding through the veneer

All the Watermelon Axiom discs and all but one of the citrus ones. LOL

Grower = having sport mode, shower = lifted 4x4 driving to the mall.
